The diffeences between ethnicities and nationalities can be seen as similar but are different. Ethnicity is your blood, it is your heritage. For instance the comedian, Denis Leary has a son who was born in England, because his wife went into labor early. Denis Leary's son is not necessarily ethnically English, just because he was born there. But he is ethnically Irish because Denis Leary. His son though can claim his nationality is English if he feels loyalty to England. Look at politics. During the last presidential election, John Kerry's wife said she was African American, and people with dark skin got offened. But she was right. She was born and raised in South Africa. Her nationalistic pride was to South Africa, making her South African. Since she now lives in America, she can say she is an African American. I am ethnically Italian, but my nationality is American beause I was born here. I vote here, and my life takes place here. So as to your question, are them men's parents Cuban? If their parents are Cuban then the men are both Cuban by ethnicity and nationality, if they do not have Cuban blood in them, then could in all regards say they are nationalisitcally Cuban. Hope this rant helps.

I am cuban, I look white with a latin flair. But I have cuban cousins who are black as the ace of spades. The difference is the native back ground. Some are Indian (not from Indai) and others are Spanish (From Spain). Spanish people have a tendency to be lighter skinned and have lighter hair. That is where I get my looks. My cousin get his roots from teh Bahamian ancestry on his fathers side.
