And about how often should we do this?

I just realized i have a problem.. With guys i'm not attracted to i'm able to be classy and keep them as friends for years and years.. but when it's somebody that i'm attracted to, i strategically make it so we don't have a connection and get to the point they want to break up with me everytime. i just realized this with the last guy i met.. he was really into me, he used to call me at night to talk so we could get to know eachother, and i wouldn't answer the phone and then i slept with him fast.. i always do that.. guys i'm not attracted to, i can be friend with them for ten years, be drunk around them and everything and not sleep with them.. why do i do this? i want to be happy someday...

There was one time when my stepdaughter was 3, and she was playing with a dollhouse. Well, it was time to go somewhere, and she refused to pick up the toys. I wouldn't give in. She yelled"No.", and began to walk away. I picked her up and intended to sit her back down in front of the dollhouse, but as I was sitting her down, she tucked her legs under ( like children do when they don't want you to put them down). I lost my balance and fell forward, on top of her, causing her face to smash into the dollhouse. She had a deep gash all the way down her nose, and one between the eyes. We had to take her to the ER and she had stitches put in. My husband told the ER that she ran and fell on the dollhouse. He advised me to tell everyone the same, out of fear that they may look at it like I "Threw" her into the dollhouse, and see it as abuse. I have told everyone this false story, even my parents. (Running out of room.......)

I find the questions asked on Yahoo! Answers very telling in terms of what people know or don't know factually, what people are interested in, how people relate to one another, and so on. On the whole, what do you think about the kinds of questions asked here? Do you find them troubling? Enlightening? Humorous? I'm interested in your thoughts!

If you saved two people from drowning and lost the third one how do you live with that?

Because ever since 1975 I have been traumatic of the loss that I could not save and it haunts me everyday.

I feel like a complete spaz when it comes to taking tests but i manage to get good grades. I'm referring to those tests where you have to show the prof what you have learned. Also, I get very nervous and ill prepared when it comes to doing board work in front of the classs. Do you think there is something wrong with me?

am taking a semester off from college and my dad won't let me live at my apartment (we're paying the lease anyway) which is an hr away. He is very controlling-- he seldom lets me go out, makes up excuses for me not to see my boyfriend, and gives me stupid curfews even though I'm 21. He grounds me if I'm even 5 minutes late. He also takes his stress out on me by hitting me with the soft side of a golf club (enough to get a bruise) over stupid things like if I park my car in the wrong spot on our driveway. He and my mom used to fight a lot but they stopped when I left for college. Now that I'm home, our household is unsettling again. My mom used to intervene, but she's so scared of my dad that she now turns the other way when he loses his temper with me. She never yells at him, she yells at me because of making him angry or blames me for her non-terminal cancer, or blames me for screwing up everything. Why won't my dad let me live at my own apt? Why are my parents this way?
IDEAS??

It might sound an odd question, I hope you know what I mean.

I think in words - always - but my friend, who is an artist, sees images in her head when she describes something.

If you seen the movie Contact. Jodie Foster's character leaves this world and lands on another planet far away from our solar system. She appears on a beautiful beach front, with the shooting stars in the back ground..I got chills when her father, which died when she was young, suddenly appeared. It was explained that the alien contact took her memories to morph into the image of her father to help ease the confrontation. At first I thought she had came across of the secret of the Universe and she indeed discovered Heaven. Okay the Question.....do you belive that the actual secret to heaven ...lies somewhere in the stars in our Universe ???

She absolutely loves band but just says "hi" to the other band kids. She has a few friends she talks to at school, but won't call them on the weekends. She just hangs around at home, reading 90% of the entire time or doing whatever needs doing. She is not studying --but her grades are A's and B's. She told me she is too exhausted from all her late-night reading to call people. She says lately she is talking more at school, but she never makes a phone call to anyone. The occasional calls from others stopped a few months ago.
Should I insist on boarding school? It's only for 11th and 12th graders so she would start off friendless like everyone else so no cliques to try to break into. The academics are the same at both her current high school and the boarding school. She says she is happy at the high school she is at, but with only a few acquaintances, I'm concerned about her social development. Shouldn't she go to the boarding school? It's free if that means anything..
