I spent 5 years with a man who i thought i would love forever, we had some very good and very bad times. When we split, i was devestated and it took nearly two years to heal. Now, when i see him i feel nothing for him. I then met a man who ive just split with after a year, I thought i loved him more than i ever did my ex so why am i not devestated like before?

love is when you love someone more than life it self and you can't bare the thought of losing him or her. when you are apart for a short time you can't stand being away from that person because you feel like they are part of you. it sounds like you heart is getting used to being hurt if that makes any sense. love does not always last long and maybe you accept this in your sub conscious. I am sorry to hear that your heart has been broken in a short time but maybe you should have time for yourself and make friends and live a single life before you get involved with someone again.

well love can be confusing at times. it just depends on how much you did love them in the first place. so lets take the first dude. i think you weighed out your good and bad times with him and maybe you felt like you had a nice addiction to him. when you guys broke up, you had to go through the withdrawal symptoms and now your good. the second guy, maybe you just wish you could have been with him more now that hes gone.

when it comes to true love u just know.
hang in there,theres someone out there for everyone.i suppose i was just one of the lucky ones who found their true love as a teenager and ended up marrying her.

You are in love with being in love. love is a two way thing when you are both only happy in each others company and your main concern is each others welfare that's love. one way love is pointless and only leads to unhappiness

love is when you care about somebody enough to take care of them and them take care of you when needed. it can be family friends etc.
