just done an online IQ test and i scored 131. im a 31 year old male is this superb/average/rubbish? as per usual the IQ test pages won't go indepth unless you hand over credit cards and agree to them sending you spam every day!

In the UK an IQ of 100 is the national averige (ave in the US is about 80 - partly due to a larger population) Mine is 128.
So you are above averge and 131 puts you in the top 12% of the country.

The average IQ is 100. If you are smart enough to score 131 on an IQ test, you are smart enough to find the answer without paying for an evaluation. Search the Internet!

I am a psychologist who conducts testing for a living, and I can tell you that online IQ tests are MEANINGLESS. They are INVALID because all "real" psychological tests have to go through a rigorous process before publication, and have to be administered under standardized conditions (the same conditions for everybody).
In addition, there are many theories of what intelligence really is, and IQ tests (even the real ones) only measure a small aspect of that.
The people behind online IQ tests have one agenda: to make money. If you are really smart, you'll stay away from them and not be a sucker. If you are really interested in an IQ test, contact a psychologist who will administer one properly and then explain to you what your scores mean in terms of your strengths and weaknesses.

Well the result says you are very intelligent or rather you have the ability to be intelligent. The average mean score for IQ functioning is 85 -115, most people fall into this range. Below 70 is intellectual disability. So on the face of it...........well done.

131 isn't too shabby. I've taken online tests and have tried ones in the Readers Digest and have had results varying between 135 and 141. Load of cobblers really because if you practice the tests then obviously you'll get better at them but not necessarily smarter. You're not going to be able to join MENSA tho. They insist on 150+

131 is good.
However, most online IQ tests only go up to 150 and are not very reliable. They will only give you a rough idea whether you are average or above/below.
131 is above average and if you take a Mensa test you are likely to do even better than that.

Go to a psychiatrist and ask for one there. Or your local MENSA-branch.
131 is above average, but about 10% share it. You're an adult, so 131 is basically above average for anyone over 18, or 21 at least. So you're quite intelligent.

If you've got an IQ of 131, why don't you know what it represents.
The median is 100, so you are above that, but not enough to join MENSA.

Dont give them your credit card number. Though once you do they will be forced to increase your IQ counts they will for sure try to spam you and keep giving you unwanted IQ tests for any pretext to save your life and their finances.
Eventually they will become rich, thats what makes their IQ so successful
