Is it strange that I prefer to speak French over my natural English? My MSN is in French, my mobile phone is too, I make notes in it, I only read L'Equipe and Le Monde if it's available, I even keep time during bass practice, all in French!
Seriously, do I need help of some sort??

I had a dream about a young girl. Dressed in a light blue
dress. She was at a playground, with other little boys.
They were ignoring her. Not wanting to talk. I however,
looked he way. She had black eyes, with black circles
around them. She looked like a zombie... And was
chanting I love you, I love you. Over and over again.
Then she pointed at her heart, and then pointed back at
me. Saying I love you again. In an angry voice this time
We were in an old town, it was daytime. What does
this dream mean ? Is this a sign of deception, in a
relationship ? Best answer wins .

my aunts believe that when something bad happens to them it is due to someone's jealousy of them, so they wear amulets and do rituals to keep jealous people away, so last week my aunt crashed her new car and she got really mad cuz she thinks that someone's envy had made it happen, how can i make her understand that it is her own fault and not someone else's? how can i help her understand that we are in control of most of the things that happens to us and not someone else? btw nobody has the superpower to cause harm to others using envy or jealousy....,but as much as i have tried to talk to her about it and help her understand, she still blames all her misfortunes on others

I have a theory:
Those who hate feminism, do so because they don't like being made to feel guilty for things that they are not personally responsible for. It could also be a resistance to the guilt that comes with acknowledging one's privilege.

Just so you know, privilege doesn’t mean that you are a bad person, and doesn’t mean that your life is easy, it just means that in certain situations, you are given advantages over people who are not part of your privileged group. If something goes badly for you and you are the one with the privilege, imagine how it goes for the one without it!

When I was in college, I was asked by a friend/workmate to help him move furniture one evening, and would have absolutely done so had I not had a baseball game that evening (I played college ball and the summer game was a critical one). I ended up having the greatest game of my life that night, getting a pair of singles and pair of three-run homers (each pair from opposite sides of the plate). The second homer was a game-winner the last inning - it seemed so surreal as I rounded the bases. After an excitement-driven sleepless night, I drove to work to tell my friend about my game, and was told that he was killed in a car accident the previous night - helping his brother move furniture with another friend. I was shocked, stunned, basically numb. I later felt that it was no coincidence that I had the greatest game of my life the night I most certainly would have died, and have continued to live each day as if it were to be my last - trying to be a positive influence in this crazy world.
