There are paper and pencil multiple choice tests, such as the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Tests; specific survey tests for specific disorders like Beck's Depression Survey; projective tests like the Rorschach and multiple choice Rorschachs, and the Thematic Apperception Test. There is also a way of interpreting Intelligence Tests to give some indication of personality variables. There are also Draw a Person Tests, which are another projective type of test.
