Why do so many brits instantly label anything sexual as perverted even when it is just an expression of a healthy sex drive, rather than one of the really harmful perversions that ruins peoples lives? Have we been brainwashed by the church that all sex is evil?

Indian law claims to be equal towards all, but as far women's laws are concerned, it seems to side the self-made prostitutes who entice away wealthy husbands, leaving the families of these husbands almost on the roads... See; http://groups.yahoo.com/group/destroyadultary
Also it gives lots of facilities to females to trap their innocent husbands by misuse of IPC 498A... See discussions in http://groups.yahoo.com/group/indianjustice
Also, when NCW and law ministry was requested to amend IPC 497 & 498 by changing the words husband and wife to spouse, may be some authorities got frightened of being alleged themselves or so... who knows... and applied that IPC 497 & 498 should not be criminal laws at all!
Do you think in this senario;
An Indian woman, a legal wife or daughter, will ever get justice?
Or Only self made prostitute will keep getting indirect shield of the laws that do not give chance to the wives to proscecute these self made prostitutes who entice away their husbands?

Don't be mean about this, I'm not psycho. I'm not going to say I hear voices cause that's just crazy. Maybe I'm still dreaming or something, but when I'm in the state where I'm not awake but not asleep, I've heard a man's voice. It's happened to me twice and scared the hell out of me. Both times I was by myself and the TV and radio were off so it wasn't that. The first time, it was really loud and sounded like it was coming from right in front of my face. It sounded like "Are you awake?" The second time I was stretching and when I brought my elbow down I heard someone say "oof" like I hit them. I never opened my mouth so it wasn't me. Once, I awoke because I knew someone was in my doorway and when I looked over I heard a noise like rushing wings and all but passed out. Am I nuts?

Every morning I drive to work, and most of the time I have to avoid one or more African-Americans walking across the middle of the highway. I have talked to my friends and they say they have seen the same thing, and 90% of the time it is an African American. I am trying to understand why this keeps happening. I hope nobody is offended.

When I was about 8, I dreamed my grandmother came to my room at night in a light blue gown, but all she did was fall over and over again. The next morning my mother said she passed away during the night.( She had cancer) When I was a year or two older, I dreamed of an uncle stuffed in a freezer, the next morning, I was told he died of cancer. When I was 11 or 12, I dreamed my step father got angry and left the house with his suitcase, the next day he was shot by his boss. Now a few months ago, I dreamed my oldest son died, but this dream was different than the others. In my dream I felt he was in his teens and I never saw him, but I remember going to his room and promising myself to keep it the way he left it when he died. Now, I am scared even though it would be years from now and this dream was different. I only seem to dream of people I am truely close to. Has anyone else expierenced this? Do I need to worry for my son?

Here's the deal. I dream these things before they happen. Never anything juicy, just plain ol' boring things. I thought I was imagining it, but I have called people a couple of times, right after I wake up (the dreams seem to disappear from memory fairly quickly.. even after I tell it). Then, when it happens, I ask them if they remember when I told them that this would happen. And, they do, so I know I'm not completely mad :).

I'd like to know scientific answers, spiritual answers, whatever. Just answers, but link me to where you get the info from so I can explore this more.
Thanks so much

I'm 17 years old and everything in my life is f*cked up.

When I was 14 I was in a car crash and I was told I would never walk again. I can walk but I have permanent injuries and I can't go and do anything I enjoy or play any sports anymore.

When I was 15 I was sexually abuse and raped by a friend of mine. Then 6months later I was sexually abused again by a family friend.

I've moved around so much and been to so many different schools. I only have one true friend and i'm pushing him away.

My parents were divorced when I was 3 and my mum told my Dad he wasn't allowed to see my brother or I again. My mother re-married and abusive gambler/alcoholic and my mum now emotionally abuses me.

I do really well at school, that's all I have. Everyone thinks I can handle my life fine but I can't.

I've lost many friends to suicide and not been there to say goodbye.

I have all these secrets and no one to tell them to. My family have such high expectations of me too.

What can I do?

My husband and I prefer to have a basic, clean, plain home, while my mother-in-law prefers to have knick knacks on every available surface. Every time we visit her home, we feel as though the rooms have closed in, because of the addition of more and more clutter. When she visits us, she tells us our coffee table needs books, framed pictures, etc. Does anyone know why people have such different feelings about clutter?

I have an eight month old son. My parents watch him while my husband and I are at work. I have a job that is pretty flexible, but, my mom isn't reliable enough for me to count on, so I need to make a change. We don't have a lot of money, and I don't trust just anyone with my baby, but we can't afford for me to stay home. I have a bachelors degree in psychology, and an associates degree in education. I am wondering if anyone knows of any jobs that I qualify for, will make a decent amount of money, and can either take my son to work with me, or work from home??? I would appreciate any career suggestions!

I have been thinking of my ex-husband a lot lately. I think that we need to sit down face to face and discuss our issues - how we want to handle our daughter, and next steps in life.

I wonder if he is also thinking of me.

We have both not been able to move on since the divorce.

I wonder if vibrations travel and that if you think of someone often they are also thinking of you.

I find that every time I talk to certain people (brother, cousin), I feel down about my life in general. They tend to be very blunt and sometimes abrasive.

I have decided not to talk about my personal life to them in particular. They don't understand what I am going through and are not very empathetic.

Has anyone else experienced this?

My cousin keeps reminding me of my mistakes and can be very rude at times.

My brother just refuses when I ask him for help.
