I can't keep or make friends for fear of rejection and abandonment, so I just push them away all together and end up feeling incredidbly lonely and depressed. I have Borderline Disorder, so that's why. But I need help overcomming this. How do I stop pushing people way and start making friends?

I've noticed this happening a lot and I can't control it. Someone will look at me in the eyes and I'll looks away quick at the wall or something and if someone talks to me all I think is "why is this person talking to me" "make it stop" It drives me crazy. I want to get better. I don't like not being able to talk to someone while looking them in the eyes. I can't even really look someone in the eyes without talking to them either.
I'll ask the teacher at school a question or something and I wont even listen to see what the answer is. I can't control it. I need help.

Well, last night I had a horrible dream. Somehow my brother's legs were tied to a tree and his head tied to a rope that was connected to a car, the car started moving slowly and next thing I know my dad is trying to push the car back so he won't die, because the car woulden't stop, and right before my brother was about to have his head taken off I woke up from my dream... it's really scary and disturbing, does this dream mean anything in particular or was it just a scary dream with no meaning?

In other words, to know that you could make the best of the talents you have but, not to want to pursue them-mostly because you don't want to push yourself and work hard.

Some feminists feel the need to bash others who are different/ have made different choices than they have. Isn't feminism about CHOICE? If so is it safe to say those that bash others based on their choices do not 'deserve' the title ''feminist''?

A few examples of feminists bashing others for their choices:
- All bodybuilders are narcissists, are idiots and cannot chew gum as well as walk at the same time. {Note: she'd probably be flexing in the mirror too is she took the time to build the body of one.}
- Insults others by calling them janitors (this is disrespecting the tough jobs janitors have).
- Insults others by saying they have no education (imagine all the poor kids who can't, this is a very immoral statement from a feminist).
- Calling anti/ non-feminists cranks and trolls (shouldn't you respect EVERYONE's choices?).

There are many many more but I think I'll stop here.

I think the family is the most important place. Other than that, I think I'm going to have to blame the victim and say that we need to make young men more aware of this tendency. They can then choose to date women who don't do this and/or not date as much until they're older. I know this tendency has its roots in evolution, but so does men's desire for a variety of mates. I think another change would be to give an equal amount of recognition and shaming that we give to some of the bad things that men do.
If you think I'm whining, go ahead and point it out. I'll point out that this tendency has a larger impact than you might think on how all men percieve women, even the bad boys themselves.

I comfort eat whenever I am bored, lonely... any type of negative emotion. I went to the psychiatrist before for depression/self harm but it was only once a month for a year and I couldn't open up. It didn't do much for me.

I don't want to be this fat and unfit. I diet and lose up to 8lb, then something upsets me and I gain the 8lbs back again... its such a hard cycle!

Is my GP likely to refer me, especially as it didn't work before and I haven't been through any major traumas, I just feel a bit emotionally neglected (although from a "good" family and it isn't their fault). What would the psychiatrist do with me? Him suggesting I think "postive thoughts" instead of negative ones, was hardly a helpful suggestion last time (CBT - I think) would it be useful if I tried again?

Thanks

Please answer the question. I myself believe that if you dream about anything like this, it's really them. For example, if you have a dream about Jesus, i believe that it is really him in your dream and not just your imagination. Please share your dreams with me. Thankyou very much.

My boss told me today that I'm over sensitive. I'd never have described myself as such and I'm not sure how to remedy it. Any ideas what I can do to remedy this character trait?

What could be the signifigance of a dream that names a child? My uncle named me Kasta, saying he had woken from a dream he could not remember with that name on his mind that he knew was meant for me. He had never heard the name/word before. My mother was almost 10 months pregnant with me and after that dream, I was born within 48 hours.... almost as if I was waiting on that to happen. I guess I have made it signifigant to me, but am wondering if this has any signifigance in the "stars". And no, I cannot find a meaning, other than "to throw" and that was relayed to me by someone. I have recently met someone from Zimbabwe with the same name, but she has no clue what it means either. Any sooth-sayers out there??

Samantha pointed the pistol at the bartender's left elbow and said, "One sudden move and your funny bone goes kaputie!"

Suddenly through the front door came a pack of wild dogs, growling and barking and bearing their fangs. Surrounding Samantha, Billy the Bartender whispered, "Not so macho now missy, huh?" Then he whistled in a loud cadence.

The dogs all jumped up on tables and stood at attention. Once again Billy whistled a slightly different cadence. Each dog started doing the hustle on the table. When they slid sideways each doberman would make a bark. Together all the barks turned into the tune from Good Golly Miss Molly by Little Richard from 1958.

"OK ya got me," Samantha exclaimed. "I will let you go this one time. But there is a request I have."

"What is it?" Billy asked

"___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________," she said chuckling.
