It is ok for the sheep, but not for humans. Humans should pretend that they have a certain number of words to use in their lifetimes and when the words are all used up, they can never speak again. That's a healthy way to look at it because it gives one pause about what is worthwhile or NOT worthwhile to say. It matters not where one is or with whom one is. Words should be worthy.

Shhhhhhhhhh! The spies of the people who call each other by a racial slur will hear you and report you to a national association and try to get Yahoo Answers shut down because of bigotry.
I think it occurs everywhere in the US and the people who do it take pride in the fact that they can call each other by that word and if a person of another race calls them that they can scream discrimination.

This is pure opinion but no it's not and it's not okay with in the same race. A racial slur is meant to be derogatory not something "cool".

i really, desperately wish that we would all get to a place where if someone of another race used a derogatory name, it would not even faze us. the reaction gives the low-lifer exactly what he wants, the enjoyment of knowing he
s bothered you in a big way. it's no different than what you tell a child when they're being bugged by a sibling - don't react to their words and they'll eventually get tired of bugging you. but children have a hard time being patient enough to wait for the problem to resolve itself.and if one race sees a word as derogatory for another race to call them, yet they use that word amongst themselves, it's like being in a special club and almost daring non-members to use the word.

I trust each and every thing you suggested different than approximately the different races of folk flying planes into the commerce center. You singling out someone of center jap descent is merely as separatist and weakens your argument. stable element on the subject of the guy calling an alike person a attractiveness while the call coming from somebody distinctive being an insult. In joking, I extremely have talked approximately myself as a whore. yet i'm going to punch yet another guy or woman interior the mouth for asserting an identical element approximately me. whilst someone i be attentive to and have stronger an information with calls me out of my call, it would not experience comparable to if a stranger does it. That stranger would not be attentive to how i'm going to be affected by the assertion. He/She would not be attentive to if i'm going to be indignant while the guy who knows me, knows that i does not. So the stranger could be considered as thoughtless, to me. it could fire up destructive thoughts. element nicely taken. i'm a black female, by utilizing the way.

If a person calls another person of their same race a "slur", it's usually (but not always) a term of endearment. f a person of one race calls a person of a different race a "slur," it's usually (but not always) out of contempt or hatred!

I think they can do MUCH better!!!
On Oprah, she was telling how when she went to Africa the locals (white & black( greated her with "Hey N**** "... because they saw "Rap Video's" and assumed that this was a good word.
In short, you teach others how to treat you ... and when you slur yourself you're showing low self-esteem. This will carry to all other people who encounter you.
