It is important to educate yourself to form worthwhile opinions.

please answer the question, don't comment about the example. If you want to chat just email me, thanks. Matthew E, Hayward

EXAMPLE:
I have never claimed pro or con about the war. To date I am still vastly ignorant to make a well educated opinion about such things. Although I have spent more time researching foreign policy, economics and history, related to our occupancy in the middle east, than 99 out of 100 people.

Please take some time to watch a slightly bias but very accurate time line of how we got to Iraq

This is an interesting question that I want to refer all to. Lots of great info, including the link above.

I went out with this guy who claims to be a christian, one day we were driving on a countryside road, when we noticed a pheasant in the middle of the road, I asked him to slow down to let the bird fly away. He replied by saying he doesn't see why because it is on his way.

I said its a bird for pity's sake its got a life and he said he doesn't undersand why I'm getting annoyed over this, as animals are of a lower falcuty to us and its not a big deal.

How and why does a person {a} who wishes to save everyone {b} (from an adversary [be it mind, self, or other free agent] {c}) grow to be hated by those {b} that that person {a} wishes to save?

Is it because the people {b} are against the individuality of 'savior' versus a 'group/hive-mind'... and so 'rebel' against the person {a}?

There are many examples of this in past and present tense where the 'savior' was abused by society or by the group, and I am sure that that factors in to any and all belief systems...

Of those many examples, some of these 'self-appointed saviors' have been misled... is this a fear shared by the people {b}... a fear that the person {a} will result to murder or extermination?

A young boy was at a football game, he seemed to be alone.
He heard the crowd cheer and asked the man next to him, "excuse me sir, what happend." the man replied "they just scored."
A few more minutes passed and he heard the crowd cheer once again, he turned to the same man and asked "Sorry can you tell me what happened"
The man said with a little more anger in his voice "They scored again, it was a great goal."
Some more time passed and once again the crowd cheered, the boy again asked the man "What happened"
This time the man turned around and with true anger in in voice
"What the hell are you blind?"
The little boy said "Yes sir I am."
The man continued to watch the game

Being older often makes me wonder if the younger generation feels intimidated by our age and knowledge. Do you feel this way? I have returned back to college to get my master's degree so I can move up the latter because I feel I need to keep up with the pace of technology and the wealth of knowledge. How do you feel about this?

I recently had a dream about a tower that was little by little being built in a nearby cemetary and was only visible in the dark, a sort of shiny light yellow color. It kind of looked like a part of the Colliseum, or Roman Epire esque, and I tried to climb it and I kept falling off. And it was a circular struture too. Kind of a mix between a Roman Empire structure and the leaning Tower of Pisa. It leaned kind of. And like I said it grew little by little until it reached to the top.

I also have a lot of dreams where I fall off of high towers in cities and what not, and it's weird I often feel myself falling. I've been told it was a OBE or astral projection.

I was raised Catholic from birth, and it was all colorful for a bit but once I reached adulthood I didn't feel enlightened at all. All that once was bright and good, became a big lie. Backed up by the most spiritual person in my family, my grandmother. Maybe it's her prayers that keep me alive, I don't know. I don't see people praying ever. I don't believe the people that surround me actualy believe in anything higher than themselves. But there's something inside me that makes me believe in something bigger than all of us. I have had it with organized religion. I'll respect yours, I'm not here to destroy anyone's belief. My belief was substituted by science and paychecks. I still believe in the Golden Rule. I live trying to make sence of my perception. In the past I used LSD many times. It never handicapped from doing anything someone who wasn't under the influence could do and it never affected my judgment. I believe in my experience I saw things as they really are.
