Morality is it's own reward. Most people will say "peace of mind" and that is nice but it is not why we should be moral.

Morality ought to logically be connected to our purpose in life and there is no purpose without a Creator:

“Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless.” –Bertrand Russell (noted mathematician, philosopher and atheist)

Morality is living in harmony with our Creator.

Ability to live in the truth and be at peace with his/her Creator and those that the person interacts with.

Morals are not cloudy and temptation becomes not only personally distasteful but easier to identify and turn away from.

Wisdom of the difference between right and wrong becomes clear and becomes a positive habit.

Arrogance and stubbornness disappears and relationships with family reconcile.

Tempting choices within others becomes less appealing, questioned and avoided when a person has respect for themselves.

Happiness - less chaos - less confusion - productive lifestyle - ability to relate with love honestly and knowledge that honesty sometimes hurts however can be healing.

Ability to spot trouble promoters and/or people who willfully use others to make themselves feel or appear important.

Ability to spot and take personal responsibility when dealing with those who do not promote honesty in relationships.

Pride and guilt are no longer in control.

Dishonesty is recognized for what it is.

Need for negative attention becomes clear with ability to repent (turn away from).

Knowledge of family roles are defined accurately.

There are no needs to hang on to relationships with others that promote trouble or division between you and other people....ability to spot manipulation.

The knowledge of armor when dealing with spiritual war/ conflict.

Ability to care for others

Ability to accept that life will never be perfect but positive choices can produce positive results.

People tend to treat others the way they are treated. (Not all cases) You don't get into trouble with the law, depending on your partner- you should not get any STD's, you have a clear conscious, etc.
