A young boy was at a football game, he seemed to be alone.
He heard the crowd cheer and asked the man next to him, "excuse me sir, what happend." the man replied "they just scored."
A few more minutes passed and he heard the crowd cheer once again, he turned to the same man and asked "Sorry can you tell me what happened"
The man said with a little more anger in his voice "They scored again, it was a great goal."
Some more time passed and once again the crowd cheered, the boy again asked the man "What happened"
This time the man turned around and with true anger in in voice
"What the hell are you blind?"
The little boy said "Yes sir I am."
The man continued to watch the game

If the story ended with the man having a change of heart and an understanding of why the young boy had been asking him about the game.

This story was going good until the last line and ended with a thud.

I believe a paradigm shift was to have taken place.

I would say the moral was to not jump to conclusions about people, not to judge them, less we judge them unfairly.
We all perceive the world from our minds view point, we cannot know why other people behave differently from ourselves. The man in the story thought the boy was probably too stupid to come to a football match, but the fact he was blind, justified all his questions.
If I was the person he had asked, I would then be giving him a running commentary.

Ouch.... talk about your anger management issues... I can see we have a few with some pent up anger and needing to vent in a bad way... Hope and understanding is what that little boy needed, and maybe a few others in the crowd.... LOL @;~}

I think this must be in a book of some sort, as I have heard it about three times, with slight variations.

The moral, I believe, is that we shouldn't make rash judgements or assumptions about other people or situations without being fully informed. When we do so, we do it at our own peril, and risk making fools of ourselves, or worse, being cruel to another person.

At least that's my take. And I am sticking to it!

No moral but maybe some advice?
If you cant watch the game listen to the game on the radio or tv, or go up to the announcers booth and ask to sit in.

And dont get angry and say hell to a young boy.

The moral is this: If you are blind and want to know what is happening in a football game, stay at home and listen to commentary on the radio.

The man thought the boy was probably trying to annoy him. I think the moral is that we must never judge someone unless we know them.

Don't make judgments without the facts.

On a lighter note, don't go to the game without a friend.

I dunno, maybe about making assumptions. 1) In such a situation, don't assume someone is just being annoying or stupid, they may have a legitimate condition that is causing their behavior. 2) In the boy's position, don't assume that it is the responsibility of everyone around you to fill in for your shortcomings. The boy is blind. Not everyone will be sympathetic about that, and automatically be willing to assume the responsibility of being his eyes.

No obvious moral, however it could be a psychological test to record your reaction. I've heard a few and it sounded like one.
How did a blind boy get into the stadium on his own, thats what I wanna know!
