coz no one takes the initiative to manage the traffic, not even the local police. Everyone is always in hurry, and if there is no law, there is no order here. There are no strict punishments for breaking traffic rules, not only that, anyone can get a driving lisence even if the driver doesn't know the traffic rules. People are fond of driving in the wrong lane, and the most pedestrians like to cross the road when there is a huge traffic. Horrible!

Your behaviour in society is the function of the learning you got from the society, your culture as well as your unbringing. I have visited many countries and worked with many nationalities. My personal view is that though we are taught many good things while we are growing up, one thing that we are never taught is discipline, ethics and compassion. Driving discipline is a reflection of culture that you live in. We have not respect and compassion for others. Me first is the attitute on the road. You will find an executive very humble and gentle in the office while transacting business with his client or with his office colleage, but the same executive is like a devil when i comes to driving on the road. He humbleness vanishes in thin air. So which is his true behaviour. The one in office or the one on the road. This is all he was taught while growing up. He is taught to be ruthless while on road and humble when he is meeting his relative, client etc. Anyway nobody recognizes him on the road so why play a role of a humble person. Relatives, friends recognizes him so he has to be nice.

properly, your question is slightly unusual because of the fact actually, in case you felt no remorseful approximately on your existence, you're able to do ok. this is, in case you relatively felt no remorseful approximately. There certainly are categories of atheists, some that have a ethical code and a few that don't. those that have a ethical code have confidence in a duty to a extra robust society and the worldwide around them. Now there's a feeling that inquiring for forgiveness purely enables extra beneficial corruption. An atheist could argue that believing in sin, potential you think your sins may well be forgiven. the real cowardice could lie interior the blanket that each and all of us your sins, inspite of what they have been or how ignorant you're of them, would be forgiven devoid of real remorseful approximately. Christians are probably extra cowardly than Atheists.

Peoples apathetic attitude, carelessness, corruption, governmental apathy, bystander attitude, no regard for life, loop-holes in legislations and a host of other factors are responsible for the current situation.
In the developed countries, people have learnt to value life and this accounts for all the difference.

Yes it is all in the mind.we indians are too many and have too much on our poor selfish minds to think about others.whether we are the users of roads or its 'minders' we care less about others.as its minders -those who are paid to look after it as builders, civiv officials who have to enforce rules of capturing road sides or road itself ,sometimes even the bridges..have failed us all. Then as we drive we tend to go ahead anyway .as only pushy get ahead everywhere in india-those who have power or money or bran or guts to break any rules.we need to instill the first rule of civic society-first cause no harm to others by your acts..then cause benefit to others always..we wait till this dawns on us poor stressed indians..!
