Hey guys,

i have a problem executing any idea while i think for it. i know there's a lot of difference thinking and doing and if i emerge with an idea, i am unable to execute may be due to carelessness, loss of motivation.

Marshall; it is all in action. If you want to execute any idea then you have to take action. Actual physical action. It's that simple.

It is usually the case that our thinking of an idea or concept develops more quickly than our actually doing it. Performing an action takes practice and one must initiate it, but it usually takes practice. Actions have to manage the events of the outside world, whereas our thought process does not. Oftentimes what we think will happen when we do something doesn't, but then it gives us more to think about, doesn't it?
Also, we can "execute" things in our mind much faster than we can when we actually do it. Sometimes we think we want to do something, but we lose motivation when we realize how much time and effort that action is actually going to take. We can't do everything we think about. And maybe there are some things we think about that we should not do.

I know someone that has that. Like they know they have to do it to get ahead in life but they never take action on it. Sometimes resulting in quite serious things like not finishing educations, not finding jobs, etc.

I don't know if this might sound familiar to you but usually these people know very well they have to, but then go and execute ideas that have nothing to do with the steps to get there. They take too many steps into the future at once. Like they may want to go live on their own all of a sudden, while their first priority should be one final paper to turn in for their studies completion. It'd be faster to just graduate.

I don't know exactly what it is that causes it, but write down what you have to do in itty bitty small steps. Maybe that helps?

Depending on your situation.....if you can go to a quiet place and not be dependent on music and other noises....then you can get in touch with yourself....to see what is going on...in your mind. If you are in the middle of a busy street.....there is no way you can make an important decision...it's the same way if you want to be creative....put yourself in the right place so you can let your mind wonder and be in the right frame of mind to come up with ideas you need for your assignment or project or just any subject you are wanting to get going.....Also if you are spiritual....give more time to that part of your life...if you feed your body with food also take time to feed your spirit..so you are more balanced....I hope something here will help you with this ...best wishes ....Mama Jazzy Geri
