Prayer is a conversation with God.
Abba, the Holy Father, our Creator. Prayer is a petition. It can be for you or your loved ones, it can be long and eloquent or long and not so eloquent. You can speak to God in short prayers or in passing. But it is in all ways a worship of the Almighty. It is a relationship with God, and He will know you.

Prayer is the way that I communicate with God, thank Him for all of His blessings, and ask Him for whatever I need and the needs of my loved ones and others in our world. I value it as one of the most important things that I can do to help others.

Prayer is a way to talk to God and to get closer to him. You can pray anytime, anywhere, just pray from your heart. I value my time in prayer with God. It is a very personal, private time when I can talk to my creator, pray for those in need , give thanks to Him for my life and all of my blessings, and to seek His will for my life.
