Belly button topography divides the human species into two distinct populations which I have labelled “innies” and “outies”. I have spent my holidays on beaches all around the world collecting data. I noticed that when I plotted the proportions of innies and outies in indigenous populations against the latitude of their geographic location a startling correlation is observed.
In equatorial regions outies outnumber innies 3 to 1 whereas in Helsinki the situation is reversed and Eskimos are entirely innies (hence inuit).
This leads me to speculate that the innies became dominant in northern populations as a result of the fluff trapping properties of the inny belly button. Local populations of our earliest human ancestors in colder northern climates having a high inny outy ratio were able to acquire significant quantities of fluff which could be spun between opposable finger and thumb to make warm clothes. Nearer the equator the innies architecture conveyed no advantage as clothes were at that time passé.

My internship supervisor/owner of the company is extremely rude. I'm thinking about quitting the internship. I've had tyrannical bosses before, but this one just seems to be psycho. She blew up on me the first day of the internship because I made a mistake in cleaning the coffee pot. Then the other day, she asked me to lock the front door and I thought I locked it but I didn't and she blew up on me about that and told me that I need to explain to her why I wasn't able to lock the door. I told her I thought it was locked but apparently it wasn't and she just kept yelling at me for like 15 minutes and told me I need to learn to do a better job at simple tasks. She has told me that I do excellent work at more complex tasks but when something petty like this happens, she nearly loses her mind. I think she may have some type of mental problem. She also mentioned that she has fired interns for asking questions about simple tasks. Anyone have suggestions about what I should do?

Why is it so many people write a judgement when they are asked to write what they think? If you ask advice you don't want to be judged, so why is it that this seems to be the first instinct of many answer's on Y/A and in life? What makes us so judgemental and what can we do to to stop us judging before we have a chance to feel empathy?

Recently, I had a job offer that was more money (25% + more)and promotion. Because of greed of getting more money than the original offer, I held back. Because of my mistake, the deal fell through and the employer hired someone else. This has been really bothering me. It has been nearly three months now and I can't get past this. I cannot even focus on my current job and my family. I don't know what to do. I feel like I missed out and it's bothering me beyond words. I have never felt like this before. Call it crazy, but I sometimes even get to tears. Help! How can I overcome this? How would you rank this in terms of a regretful life event? Thank you for your help.

I have trouble feeling interested in things, especially if it's people talking to me. I don't want to try to diagnose myself here. I'm just wanting to keep a check on my health habits and see if there is anything I can change, or that I could be looking out for. I feel so bad because I feel like I'm being self-absorbed. I don't want to be that way.

OK I don't know what this is but someone asked me one time if I have dyslexia. Well I don't think I do I love reading and I get it right everytime I don't have problems with that but sometimes more then not I turnaround what someone says and take it different from how it was said like i confuse the question or I will take it literally.

Example: Today at work a lady wanted the milk 2 in a bag she had a bunch well what do I do I only put 2 cartons in a bag its like I misunderstand people hear understand it differently from how it is said and asked. Please only serious answer's because I'm serious this happens alot.
