this is an interesting question, but i dont think it comes from the heart bc if it did then why would so many people be having sex with someone they dont have feelings for, i think that the sexual desire comes from the build up of your hormones which is why some people dont ever want to have sex

Sexual desires in other word is Lust and this comes from mind and not heart. If it is heart then it would not be called merely "Sexual Desires" but love. A lot of explanation not for the sake of justification but the fact can be given on this topic.

I think it's a combination, but mostly the heart. We all want to be close to someone so we can share ourselves on deep levels. Sex is one of the absolute best ways to do that. The mind creates the memories and fantasies which are perpetuated by the heart. Then, because of what the brain is doing, the chemicals are released into the blood, etc...

Just a theory...

Mind

I think its mind, cause the more the think about it the more you want it. But if its when you love someone, then you just love to satisfy them and you wna satisfy them sexually also so you can make memories that you can look back on the times you spent with them; and that part could be coming from the heart.
But if they dont want to have sex, but you just want it whether they want it or not, then obviously thats just coming from your mind because you WANT IT despite if they want it or not.
So it all depends.

desire is something that humans, especially men, do not really like to talk about. but i guess deep, deep down with us humans, there is some sort of passion that we all crave, even monks.
but um, i don't know, you see. im turning 20 this week, and i still cant figure out if i want to have any sort of relationship with a man yet... well, i guess that we like to believe that desire comes from just physical attraction...

sexual desires is also a form of hunger, so when you are hungry, even a piece of dried bread tastes like Pizza, and all these signals are auto generated ,your brain need not tell you that you are hungry, when you are hungry you just know it, similarly with sexual desires , when the body needs it you just know it your Brainn or heart doesn't tell you to go for sex. its a game of few hormones only

heart just pumps blood. it does nothing else.what ever we do it is directed only my mind.only our brain tells us that we are longing for such a person or such a thing.sexual desire surely coms from brain.it may be also becoz of true love which emerges just in some part of the brain which controls emotions and other things.

Your desire is what you long for, what or whom you long to be with. Your desire is where your heart is. but sexual desire i guess its a product of both, you love and your mind functions producing alots of emotion, feeling, etc.then your body gets to feel the pleasure, it turnd hot or cold, wanted to get off
