I have an eight month old son. My parents watch him while my husband and I are at work. I have a job that is pretty flexible, but, my mom isn't reliable enough for me to count on, so I need to make a change. We don't have a lot of money, and I don't trust just anyone with my baby, but we can't afford for me to stay home. I have a bachelors degree in psychology, and an associates degree in education. I am wondering if anyone knows of any jobs that I qualify for, will make a decent amount of money, and can either take my son to work with me, or work from home??? I would appreciate any career suggestions!

Maybe:
1. Home clinic. You rearrange one of your room (in your house). You advertise your service to all health center at your place. You charge per hour or per block sessions (a package of 6 to 12 sessions). You have session per appointment, so you adjust with your own time.

2. Part-time educator? to any institution around your place? or open your own tuition center at your home.

p.s. i am speech therapist. so i believe that we both can open clinic with minimum modal. we don't need so much tools right?

I don't have a suggestion, I just want to applaud your decision to want to be w/ your son. Day care is awful. I worked in one that was considered "upscale" but it was too sad for me to work there because the kids needed more attention than a couple people could give them.
I wish you luck in figuring out what you can to to help your family!
