Abortion rights need to be kept in place in the US and advanced in countries where they don't have the same.
In the US, we need a much more organized and effective Child Suport enforcement law.
Spousal abuse needs to be outlawed globally
FGM has to be eradicated
Third World women anxiously await our assistance on issues such as arranged marriages and Spouse abuse
Education for women globally
Poverty eradication for women and children
Good luck

Wages are better today, but still not equal in many businesses. That is a very tough issue to prove and to enforce. Sexual harassment is the same way.
Abortion is and will always be a fight. It is in danger in America...more than most people know.
We are all fighting for our identity. The fashion industry is absolutely brutal at aiming for self-esteem weaknesses for profit. It is a constant assault and many women become lost in it.
Single mothers have a boat load of challenges to face. WIC is a great program and there are some others for struggling moms. The laws are largely leaning in favor of the mom, which is good, but there are cases where the ex gets railroaded. This causes tremendous friction between the sexes. Not good.

Pay/Poverty and representation are currently the worldwide focus.
"UN statistics cited by the May 2001 Pan Pacific Southeast Asia Women's Association 21st International Conference are even more specific, stating that "in the world as a whole, women comprise 51 percent of the population, do 66 percent of the work, receive 10 percent of the income and own less than one percent of the property."
By population, women are underrepresented in all of the world's major legislative bodies. In 1985, Finland had the largest percentage of women in national legislature at approximately 32 percent (P. Norris, Women's Legislative Participation in Western Europe, West European Politics). Currently, Rwanda has the highest number of women at 49 percent. The United States has 14 percent. The world average is 9 percent. In contrast, half of the members of the recently established Welsh Assembly Government are women and 40% of members of the Scottish Parliament are female"

Feminists are working for the same things that they have been working towards for decades. Wages are still unequal in a lot of places. Women still get discriminated against in some workplaces. Look at Wal-mart. They've been on the news facing a lawsuit for discrimination. Childcare is still an issue. As is abortion rights and lots of other things. Our problems weren't all fixed in the sixties and seventies, there's just less spotlight on them now, it seems like.

"Why are feminists in charge for each thing?" they are not. you should blame some issues on them with regard to unfavorable self-worth and transforming into guilt systems in contemporary females. besides as being occassionally overbearing specially conflicts in favour of females. "have you ever observed that as quickly as feminists..." No, i've got no longer observed that, i've got observed various human beings who look to like to argue asserting various issues which do no longer make various experience, yet it relatively is rather ordinary on maximum themes. "yet whilst boys or adult adult males ..." have not relatively observed lots of that the two, yet I argue human beings making that style of assertion are overlooking that they are putting words into the mouths of feminists with the aid of believing their mandate is different than what that's. "and how can somebody who desires to overwhelm..." with the aid of fact with the aid of attacking the mess united statesof the strikes of the flow they are able to destabalize its place. "Do they ever supply as much as think of that feminists may well be greater probable and greater waiting to campaign on those themes, if we weren't continually having to combat off our detractors with the different hand?" certainly, I disagree with this, lots of the sturdy feminists thrive on conflict, the greater you positioned hurdles of their way and the greater controversy you supply to the situation, the greater interest will become recent. And the greater prompted particular feminists, and particular human beings often, are. So I question whether that's actual or no longer. After a fashion "scuffling with the flow" provides it clout and legitimacy.

Hopefully issues such as daycare, the elimination of pornography, human trafficking in Europe, equal pay for equal work, domestic violence, the exploitation of the fashion industry and other issues. I get tired of anti-male screaming types wanting separatism and socialism, and I am not against the women's movement but those old pictures of Gloria Steinem and Andrea Dworkin were suggestive of a coming Communist revolution.

for me, I am all for equal opportunity, but the main thing I think that should be focused on is spreading gender equality all around the world, to all these third world countries and the middle East especially!!

I'm happy to report that we are gradually shifting our focus to women in developing countries, where feminism is far more necessary. Back home, we're focusing on work-family balance; increasing our ranks in upper management, politics, and the military; securing reproductive rights; ending gender-stereotyping in the media; and helping rape victims.

I hope they're working to even out wages between the sexes. Men make more money for doing the same jobs that women do. Also they should be working toward quality, affordable childcare. Also quality, affordable medical care for women and children.
