When I was about 8, I dreamed my grandmother came to my room at night in a light blue gown, but all she did was fall over and over again. The next morning my mother said she passed away during the night.( She had cancer) When I was a year or two older, I dreamed of an uncle stuffed in a freezer, the next morning, I was told he died of cancer. When I was 11 or 12, I dreamed my step father got angry and left the house with his suitcase, the next day he was shot by his boss. Now a few months ago, I dreamed my oldest son died, but this dream was different than the others. In my dream I felt he was in his teens and I never saw him, but I remember going to his room and promising myself to keep it the way he left it when he died. Now, I am scared even though it would be years from now and this dream was different. I only seem to dream of people I am truely close to. Has anyone else expierenced this? Do I need to worry for my son?

I have the same gift but it takes years before my dreams to come true. And when they do it's always in a form or Deja vu. My mother whom passed 9 months ago had gifts and she passed something different down to each one of us. On the morning my mom passed I sat up in bed at exactly six o'clock and couldn't understand why I woke up. I think she was in my room with me trying to say goodbye. I suggest you read some of Sylvia Brown's books. My sister reads her books and she feels like she better understands her dreams. As far as your son goes, I'm sorry but I have no answer for you. I hope and pray that your son will be well.

Really what it is that you maybe might had heard you parents talking to these people and you had them on your mind while you were sleeping or you had i on your mind before you went to sleep.

Your mind plays tricks with your memory. For instance my mother has the same problem, recently my mom had a dream that my dad's uncle used her toothbrush and this disgusted her adn she was wondering why the hell she was dreaming about this. Well later that day she works at a doctors office and they have a book of dreams and she looked it and it said that her dream of a family member using her toothbrush actually meant that a loved one is in the hospital. When actually my great grandmother was in the hospital at the time. She has had many dreams and she has looked them up and they have all turned out to be in the book and actually end up with something on your mind. What i find amazing is how they found what these dreams mean and how they made a connection between the two.

Well I hope this helped you out but it seems to that is just some things that across your mind. Like I said earlier your mind plays tricks on you, for expamle the scenario I explained earlier.

This is a hard one to deal with and can be so upsetting. It is very common to dream of the death of those close to us and is usually indicative of our fear that something might take them away. There are also precognitive dreams, which you have obviously had in the past.

I have had this my whole life. I have had dreams a few days before the death of family members. I have also dreamed of deaths that did NOT occur. I am able to tell the difference between my precognitive and psychological dreams now. It has taken years of analyzing my dreams to find out what the differences are.

Do you keep a dream journal? The key is to write down the details, feelings, how clear the dream was, etc. Then when something happens you go back and make notes by the precognitive dreams. In this way you "learn" your dream types.

The dreams you had in the past and now were dreams from the Lord letting you know that people in your life were going to pass away. I have had the same type of experiences, only it is not neccessarily family member but anybody in general. However, not all dreams about death mean that someone is going to die, sometimes God is warning you to pray for someone and intercede so they can avoid death. With dreams like this you have to be sure to inquire if it is written in stone so you can prepare yourself, or is it a warning. I get alot of dreams about people passing away, but then the Lord lets me know it's a warning. If it is death, then there will be a great grieveing of the Holy Spirit and you can feel it. So, my advice would be to ask God if this is just a warning. Okay take care.

Your dreams are not premonitions of death. Most of your experiences with "dreams as prophecy" happen to be dreams about people who are close to you that are terminally ill. Those people are likely to be on your mind a lot, and your mind may be working to resolve things. That's not premonition.

The ones who are not terminally ill are still close to you, so it's not a 1 in a million chance that you'd dream about them just before they died -- but more like a 1 in 4.

I doubt you can have telepathic dreams. Your son wasn't dead the following morning like everyone else was, was he?
