well it depends on the kind of millionaire. if its Paris Hilton, then no. she needs to earn the public's respect. if its somebody like Gordon Ramsay or Celine Dion, then yes they do deserve respect because they are very respectable people. it all depends on the person,

Being a millionaire has it respective responsibilities and if the millionairee has earned it... yes. And I may not respect the millionair if he is a chump but I will respect the reality that a person with that amount of money doesn't have to have any consideration for me at all and if I don't respect that I can be in trouble. It is like a policeman with a gun on his side. I may or may not respect the human but I will respect that piece on his side... yes sir.

Nope. People ought to be judged by their characters and not by the content of their wallet. There are good and bad people spread throughout the classes. However, it seems as if people do give more respect to those with money. Most of them are there to suck up to the wealthy whether or not they like them. If I were a millionaire, I wouldn't tell people and I wouldn't show it either. I want to be liked for who I am, not for what I have.

Just being a millionaire doesn't give you the right to more respect, however, just because someone is a millionaire it doesn't mean they deserve less respect.

Having money does not make one important, just people respect more as all they want is your money.
We are not poor and i can tell you we never look down on others we will help if we can.
we are equally the same in that box at the last so why worry about money.

Respect isn't something that can be bought because of money. Respect has to be earned and is a two-way street.

it dont give you the right but you will always have the busy bodys in life that want to sucker up to them therefore giving them this respect. idols like david beckham get it from the media i know but normal people in normal towns get it because they are wanted on village councils and to be in other comittees just so they can try and take there money or you will get the other extream where they will force them selves in just because they got money. if i had money id just spend and enjoy myself and stuff what people thought of me they certainly wouldnt think of joining councils or commitees

NO, a person must earn another person's respect. There are many millionaires out there that do not deserve my respect.

No. Respect and accumulation of wealth are mutually exclusive.
It's easy to come by large sums of money.
Respect must be EARNED.
