Women enter a relationship expecting a man to change. Men enter a relationship expecting the woman to stay the same. Both are disappointed when the man stays the same and the woman changes (usually for the worst).

Men just want a close companion to share adventures with and have sex with. Women want some prince charming perfect God-man that doesn't exist. Expectations are a big part of it.

I think both men and women are good at hiding things from each other, during dating and after marriage, whether they're "unsuitable" or not. I have a good friend who's husband didn't tell her until after they were divorced that he was a Republican! (She was a liberal Democrat, who worked on Democratic candidate's campaigns). I know both men and women who have had partner's who maxed out their credit cards, bought a new car in their name, and stole everything from them and skipped town.

There are definitely unscrupulous men and women; it's not restricted to just one gender like you think.

I disagree. I think the men just don't notice or else they do not care about it at the time because they are thinking how much they want to be with the women. I also think they believe they will change the woman's ways once they are an item.

Men usually enter a relationship expecting a woman to change. And if she doesn't change her bad habits, they will abuse her. Women can't initiate and preserve relationships. Only men can. Also, women who think about having sex with men often receive slut shaming from men.

Because woman are made to feel that most all their characteristics are "unsuitable" and men are taught that they better than woman in every way so why would they have anything to hide?

i don't think this is true. Rather, I'd say everyone is on their best behavior at the beginning of a relationship. Maybe it just seems like women do it more since, well, that's who you're dating. Think about it, how much first hand experience do you have with how other guys behave on a date?

Women are socialized to initiate and preserve relationships.

I always thought the opposite was true. Anyway, people like to present their best selves to strangers, and that's what we are at first when we meet someone. One of the reasons you should not marry someone you have only known for 2 weeks!

I see it so in lots of circumstances right here in those questions: "Why do women individuals try this?" "Why do adult men do this?" WHY can no one seem to % out with the concept each and each individual - male OR woman - is a individual? each and every vice and each distinctive function referred to in those questions, I even have suggested in the two men and girls individuals - each and every so often the two and each so often even inverse to the porportions quoted interior the unique question, itself! people (of the two genders) have solid factors and that they have undesirable factors. considering which you're patently a guy, and that's women individuals you date, you're able to of course be extra familiar with the "courting sins" of ladies individuals. (As a woman who dated adult men, I even have considered the different edge of the coin.) in spite of the undeniable fact that, we don't ought to shrink our observations to our own reports. I even have heard multiple courting horror memories from male acquaintances and co-workers, and in simple terms as many from my fellow women individuals. on your "further info" area, you point out that extra beneficial than 50% of actual abuse is thru women individuals in the direction of adult men. i do no longer comprehend the place you purchased that statistic from. i comprehend there actually IS considered one of those element as an "abused husband" - i've got actually met a number of them. yet i've got met so plenty extra abused different halves! mutually as this is authentic that an abused guy is way less probably talk approximately it, it style of feels to additionally be authentic that abused adult men are much less probably to go through injuries of sufficient severity to deliver them to emergency wards, and hence entice the attention of the government. this could seem to translate into the top that regardless of if women individuals bodily abuse adult men as in lots of circumstances or no longer, they curiously don't be in a position to do almost as powerful a job of it. returned on your unique question approximately hiding one's undesirable edge, nonetheless, take a glance at human habit previous in simple terms the courting sport. do no longer we see the comparable element in political applicants each and all the time? no one says, "Yeah, i'm grasping and power-hungry and that i will royally sock it to the common public if i'm elected, yet vote for me, besides." do they?.
