I have dreams like that all of the time. When I asked my dad about he said he had dreams like that too. I really want to know why it feels like a force is holding u down so it is hard to sit up. Is it because ur mind is getting up in the dream?

By this I mean, do you develop a kind of 'culture' in your mind which is entirely unique to you? Comprising of your reactions to stimuli (all senses) your inner feelings towards things, your own thoughts and opinions, and your own personal preferences.

be so angry at someone that you cannot "look" at them across a table in which you are seated because it will only make you more uncomfortable or loose your temper. BTW--Physical anger is not in the equation. We are mediating a dispute over property(business deal gone bad) and by not facing this person and looking only at the mediator it helps me stay cool and address the problem. Should the other person be worried or me or neither? Give me some truth. What would you think? Many thanks.

I live in a small city of Turkey. Its population is approximately 100.000. It is near sea and a green and nice city. But its citizens (including me) do not know how to produce its future by using social sciences. The only important thing is to earn money here. But this view will destroy my city in the near future. I hope there are somebodies here in yahoo answers , who help us to draw a route for a city's future scientifically.

I have always been the kind of person that gets praised by others alot; I know I'm very smart and that I am talented and gifted, but unlike other people who like to show so much of their pride of this, I in the other hand aren't like that, I feel like I don't deserve the good praise. maybe I'm just too humble. I can say that I am too UNSELFISH. I want to make everybody else feel good that I don't feel comfortable being complimented or being praised. Is something wrong with me, is this normal?

I have noticed over my 62 yrs that it seems that rich people are constantly striving to find happiness, that they are either in conflict with other members of their family,or just plain confused about what to do with their wealth & afraid it will disappear if they dont figure out what to do about it.Always penny pinching and many times deceiving to make another dollar thinking it will make them happier, and they seem to be extremly disappointed when they find that yheir happiness is elusive and cant be found. Does it appear to you to be this way?

If your parents knew were they supportive? Or did they degrade you and told you to get over it?

I knew a victim who's mom degraded her, destroyed her esteem and told her it's all her fault, told her that's no excuse to fail school, told her to get over it already even after 7 months.

Thoughts opinions on this?

You are too young to be married even though a lot of people your age are getting married or already married.

There is someone out there for you, there's a Mr. right out there for you.(when everyone says that to everybody) and when noone shows interest in you.

When your mom complains how you look and makes it sound like you're an ugly duckling but everyone else compliments how beautiful you are outside and inside(you think you're beautiful)

I heard an interesting statistic:

"One out of ten men have raped" (As if dating wasn't terrifying enough)
Does anyone know of any sites/studies that would support this statement. I am looking for facts not opinions. Please do not answer this question with another question.

Thanks!

My question is serious. I'll skip the silly or inappropriate answers in the hope that someone else will know what I'm talking about. This is definately not a odor that was in my room, as it was of someone who has been out of my life for years. The dream was about this person.
