This hard to answer as my Family and Friends have helped with many things. I guess it was the Riding Lawnmower I bought about 2-3 years ago. My mom went halves on it. I mow her yard and a few neighbors. The Rider is mine and she not expect me to repay, just mow her yard!
Personality? Well, you know how Moms can be! Ha!
But, I want to add. A friend going to sell me a Dodge Van next month (That when I will have the money). It worth $2,500 easy and he say $400. But, I will probably give him $500, hey, it still a great deal. This just how my Family and Friends are, we very close. I bought one friend a nice Fender Acoustic Guitar, heck, he was playing some Wal-Wort Special and he really is good. It was fun and that just how we are.
I can go back 15 years ago when I built my House. I cost $10,000 to build. $50,000 house! Not much, I am a simple man. My dad help me and I have friends that do various construction work. Dang, I remember hanging one sheet of Sheetrock, and then my Buddy came over with some more friends finished hanging the sheet rock, taped, mudded and blowed the ceiling. All I did for him was some simple Electrical Wiring in his house. Heck, they even brought the Beer. Ha! But, that how we are. :-D
I guess our actions show our personalities?

My last boyfriend helped me buy my car. He knows all about cars, and he went with me to several dealers. Finally, I just told him what I wanted, and he went to six dealers in two hours, whereas I could do about one or two dealers in that time. He was with me when we found the car I bought. He saw it parked against a fence -- it had just been turned in and hadn't been processed yet. He helped me get a great deal on it. In the past, I've always felt that car salemen were out to take advantage of me as a woman, so it really helped to have him there. He was a very giving, caring guy and he loved me a lot, that's what I remember about his personality. And he really knew a lot about cars!
