if used say once or twice a day, will the effects wear off over time or can I expect to get consistent results. I've heard that after using the program on a certain setting for a while it no longer works on that setting because your brain gets used to hearing it....

The effect you are referring to is called entrainment. As your brain adjusts and absorbs the stimulus you no longer feel the change because your brain has absorbed the frequencies.

Remember learning how to write? Your hand and fingers just got "weird" when you held the pencil. Now you have no difficulties with writing. Your brain and the wave generator are doing the same thing your fingers did. You have absorbed the "learning" and are ready to move on to more complicated frequencies. You know how to write, now you will need to learn how to draw, then paint, pottery, sculpture, etc.

When the frequencies have done their job, it is time to move on to another frequency. It still works, but you have a need to go further. Good luck, hope this analogy helps.

For best results, it must be replenished, preferably once per week. This often happens every Sunday morning at church.
