I didn't go in or call in, something happened with my child last night. We get two no call and no shows, I didn't say anything last night. If it is seasonal work, will I get fired?

When my boyfriend said he visited a prostitute just "to do it"....because he wanted to losehis virginity...i was shocked at how marrow minded men are. Is it true that your whole self esteem and imagepeople have of u just rest on if youre a virgin or not? isnt it better to lose it to a lover rather than a prostitute?

In the spirit of Christmas time, have you watched "It's a Wonderful Life"? George Bailey gets to see what the town would be like if he was never born, and he would see the little impacts he made on each person then the next.

Do you believe that you make a difference in people's lives? How many people do you thing you have affected? Would it have mattered if you were never born?

Why don't all the people who whine about their lives being in the crapper, and threaten suicide just go ahead and do it, and decrease the excess population???

Or are they only wanting attention???

we seem to have a problem in this country with under funded sections of key service areas i.e. armed forces & the n.h.s. Now im no economist but why dont we print more money and channel it into improving these services instead of squandering it on silly projects such as the dome and other failed enterprise areas. derrrrrrrr!

Once you've turned out the lights and get into bed before sleep, don't you sense a weird presence in the darkness? Maybe its cuz I've experienced a few too many night terrors....but how can I get over it?

I've tried sleeping without the night-light, but i just can't handle it for more than a few seconds. I become overwhelmed with anxiety and the sense of another person....you know that feeling when someone is standing right behind you. I only get this feeling when I'm by myself...I feel more comfortable in the dark when someone's with me. Is this possibly just my twisted imagination playing tricks with my senses? Please help, I need to start saving electricity! and the dark scares me to death =(

One minute, i'll be feeling happy, and the next minute i'll be feeling sad again for no rhyme nor reason.

I'm naturally very shy and quiet (its nothing to do with how I was brought up, my mom's an old school feminist), but people are always telling me how I need to be more assertive and outgoing...I feel like everyone wants me to change but i like myself the way i am...?

My dreams most of the time have got a meaning. Meaning from my past (sometimes I see some people from my past and they talk to me about what is happening with them at present and then I find out that this is actually the true, or a future. Why is that? Do you believe in dreams?

I almost never dream about people I know personally or who exist in real life, and my dreams are almost entirely based on experiencing different vast, intricate and beautiful environments which are sometimes containing minor people or characters which are made up, depending on events in the dream. I remember every dream I have, and I’ve only dreamt of a real-life person twice in the last four months, and on both occassions it has been of Tom Waits, the musician.

My friend tells me that her dreams are entirely people-centered, especially people she knows, and her surroundings play a very small role. From what I’ve heard, most people dream of those they know. Why, then, are my dreams void of familiar faces?

Why would a prostitute not wish to fall in love? Even after she was offerred by this good woman a new, decent life? This prostitute, who is most determined to become a good woman, tries to persuade herself that she views Mr. R (the man she is attracted to) as a father? She tries not to fall in love with him, why? And is it possible for a prostitute to change into a better person? Or are they too phsycologically messed (though I'm sure they do have hope)? (The prostitute is like...18-19, the man is 35)
