In the spirit of Christmas time, have you watched "It's a Wonderful Life"? George Bailey gets to see what the town would be like if he was never born, and he would see the little impacts he made on each person then the next.

Do you believe that you make a difference in people's lives? How many people do you thing you have affected? Would it have mattered if you were never born?

I know I have had an impact on others. I've really helped a few people through hard times in their lives. Other people have had an impact on me, as well. I think that everyone will have an impact on at least one person in their lifetime, whether positive or negative. I believe everyone is born for a reason, we may just have a hard time figuring out that reason.

I offend question myself about my marriage and did I make the right decision marrying a man with 2 boys and there are times when I have to say NO and then there are the times when out of the blue my husband will come to me and hug me and tell me that he doesn't know what he would do without me and that he doesn't think that he would of been able to raise his 2 boys with me. He often tells me that I make him complete. For awhile I felt as though the boys would never except me as their Mother and that I would be the wicked step mom that they couldn't stand, but a few years ago on Mother's day, they both came to and told me that I was the best Mom they ever had and that they will never love their real Mom as much as they love me. Plus I have made very special friend that I hope I made an impact on. So I would have to say Yes that if I was never born it would have mattered.

Yes, I do make a difference in lives. Although many times you don't realize you make a difference in someones life once you think about it every decision you make from the start of your existence to the end changes someones life, some for the better, some for the worse but if just one person never existed then there would be a huge change in someones life. I for one, believe this about myself. And yes that is an excellent movie I enjoyed every bit of it.

Your question is really very beautiful and deep.

I'll just give you this one incident from yesterday. I decided to call my sister-in-law for her birthday and she was so happy that I did. Towards the end of the conversation, she said, "I love you" and I answered back "I love you too". I can't tell you how good I felt after that phone call and I had no idea that would happen.

So, yes, we do have an impact on each other, most definitely and sometimes, we just don't realize how much our deeds affect others.

I haven't seen but a few scenes from that movie.

I know I make a small difference in people's lives. I enjoy writing and mailing letters and cards to people... I think it's a lost art to be honest. I fill the cards and letters with tons of positive things, and it makes me feel good knowing that I am making someone's day a little brighter.
