Only its most developed regions, where the high-tech companies are concentrated, will reach the level of the 1st world countries. The rest of the country, however, has still a long way to go.
If you measure the status, using the GDP per capita, then certainly India will not manage to become an affluent society till 2025. Its average GDP/capita is somewhere around $400 a year - obviously very far from the $20,000+ of the developed world.

certainly, with almost 20 years by 2025 if the States and private entities use resources efficiently and invest excessively in the human resources it can be obtain. to be a 1st world country per capita income must improve, life expectancy in many part of the country can be corrected and the unequal distribution of wealth need to be corrected also. most of these can be done in 15 years with serious commitment from the state agencies. Indians are considered highly advance in IT sector among other area the effort must continue.

well present growth rate isnt enough. u need a comprehensive (all encompassing) growth. 350 millions r below poverty line. with the present rate u need more than 200 yrs to get to level 2. stop spending on arms and it could save u a 100 yrs.
