I own two. A king James and a Catholic one. Why do I own it? It is full of information that is necessary for me to know. And I love the author. And I love his people. It is timely always. Where is my Bible, right here at hand. On the shelf just above my computer.

Of course I own a Bible...it's on my end table in the living room with a bookmark in Matthew chapter 5, waiting for me to come over and finish reading. I own it because I got it at confirmation like 10 years ago and I keep it at hand because I like reading small parts of it everyday.

Actually - right beside me. Why is it by the computer anyway? hm. I have another too...little "travel edition" :)
I own one (2) because they were both gifts. The big one (and best) is the NIV and has lots of info in it. I like it. I read it frequently...although not frequently enough.
Everyone should read the Bible...even when people say they don't' believe...they should just read it just to read it. It doesn't hurt. Painless I say! :)

I keep one bible on the shelf for posterity, and I keep a copy on my computer for research and reference as well.
I have extensive knowledge of the bible, having performed the functions of a Minister for years before converting to my current religious inclination. Now I keep it as a weapon.

I have quite a few translations at my home but I also keep two in my office. I own them so I can study the word of God.

No, I don't have one - because I'm not religious.
Is that worth the ten points? I bet someone religious gets it - but my answer is just as honest as their's and just as simple.
