I regularly feel the force. It feels like a globe nestling in my hands. If I hold my hands about a foot apart, I can feel the force between them and it has a tangible essence - it is the energy in the space vacuum that joins everything in the universe

I believe that anyone can experience this, and if they can harness their concentration enough they can use the power of the force to heal, or even move objects, much the same way that Ryu and Ken from the original Street Fighter game can send a ball of force towards their opponents.

Unfortunately, with recent fatherhood and running a medium-sized company, I don't devote sufficient time these days to develop my powers, but no doubt one day I will get there!
