I had a dream that I cut off strips of an old cotton nightgown and then began eating it with hummus,I ate this old cotton gown in strips and I waited a long time but it would not get digested,so I started to try pull it out of my stomach and throat, and at the same time became aware that it was cleansing my stomach just like they do in yoga where someone swallows a cloth and then pulls it out to cleanse. But it was really hard to pull the strips out and one would not come out and It was not getting digested so I became really afraid and started going around asking people how to get rid of it.Then the dream changed into me becoming a pregnant lady that just gave birth, the baby drank allot of bottles but my breasts would make no milk,I was really weak, and I noticed I was in my old home I grew up in in my childhood bedroom. No one was home and I was alone I heard noises coming from downstairs and there was a guy with a knife,I tried calling the police but he tried stabbing me anyway...

*My brother is doing long time in prison and they're suggesting me to not be a comfort and support to him while he's feeling pain behind bars!My brother did wrong, yes I know, but what is your opinion should I just "let him go" or "motivate" (not change) him to think in a better direction. His psychiatrists suggested that we take a look at this:

A more extreme form of this has been called "tough love," meaning letting someone go through a painful life experience without interference for the sake of its greater educational value. This can be an excruciating experience for loved ones, who must avoid the urge to step in and rescue the person from that pain (but thereby interfere with the loved one having a much-needed growing experience).
This detachment does not mean avoiding the feeling of empathy; it is actually more of an awareness of empathetic feelings that allows the person space needed to rationally choose whether or not to engage or be overwhelmed by such feeling

I suffer from depression and I am on vacation by some friends. I feel that sometimes I am too outspoken and I am messy so they are talking about me. Could you please identify some ways in which I can change?

I dreamt the other night that I was Heidi Klum, weaving through a roomful of socialites and unknown faces clad in designer clothing, but I know none of them. I feel like myself yet my appearance was like her. (She's not my idol or anything, I just watch Project Runway once in a while)

Then the other night, I dreamt that I'm a lady of Spanish origin (which I'm not in real life) and my husband is a Portuguese man. And the whole dream is in Portuguese, I sort of know what I'm hearing in the dream, but in real I don't speak and can't understand the language and once I wake up i get all confused.

I used to dream as MYSELF. But lately I've been dreaming as someone else. I'm starting to think that my soul has experienced a switch with somebody else's and it's freaking me out. Because people always say, the souls of people are taking a walk when their bodies are resting/sleeping.

Can anyone offer a probable explanation?

Thanks!

The following quote appeared in a recent Wall Street Journal article:
Over the years Federal Reserve officials have grappled with what they call the ‘mirror’ problem. When central bankers look at interest rates set in financial markets are they looking at investors’ independent judgments about the economy or are they simply seeing investors’ interpretation of the Fed’s own words? Today the Fed is clearly not looking in a mirror. Officials repeatedly say they’re worried about inflation, then watch the markets ignore their admonitions and price in Fed interest rate cuts.
Note: Currently, yields to maturity in markets for US Treasuries range from 5.06% on the 6 month T-bill, to 4.85 % on securities maturing in 1 year, 4.72% on securities maturing in 1.5 years, 4.63% on 2 year securities, 4.53% on securities maturing in 3 years, and 4.48% on 5 year Treasury notes.)

Based on these rates, what is the implied 6 month T-Bill rate 1 year from now?

Are there any statistics that measure social contacts for the average person per day?

"Social Contact" is a pair of social actions with no further consequence - i.e. it is not likely to be repeated. It can sometimes be described as an accidental social interaction. An example would be a failed and not-repeated attempt to start a conversation

I've got a final (short essay form) in about two hours and I just figured out that I don't understand the Cartesian Circle at all. I know it pertains to DesCartes' argument for the existence of God and clear and distinct perceptions, but I'm lost other than that. Wikipedia's not helping me either. ;)

i have a case of OCD whereby i 'see' images of digusting things and I feel as if I will be contaminated / harmed by being anywhere near it.

This has an affect on my life. If I tell myself it is purely in my mind, would it help to overcome it?

Who was the single most important person in your life, that inspired you to become the kind of person you are today?

What did they do to have this affect on you?

And lastly, in what way would you be different if this person had never come into your life?

I know its really hurting my relationship because any time my girl does something to bother me especially when I know she knows what she is doing I wont let it go. I will repeat my self in three different ways over and over again until I think she understands the degree at which Im feeling this anxiety and its not fair for me to do that to her. How do I stop feeling so anxious about the things she does and just accept them. I dont want to see a counseler and i cant afford one either, I need some techniques or breathing exersises that really work to build towards never feeling this way again. And seperating with her is out of the question for now, because she has put up with my bull this far so i know she loves me, she could have put up with someone elses easier bull if she didnt. Thanks
