It sounds silly, but breathe. Deep, slow breaths will help you focus.

You WANT to be a little nervous. Being nervous means you have adrenalin coursing through your system, which makes you think faster and react more quickly. This is good - so you do not want to eliminate nervousness completely.

The best way not to be nervous? Prepare. Know your talk, rehearse and rehearse and rehearse again, so you can deliver the material while thinking of something else. If you are truly well prepared and confident about the material, the audience can't shake you up.

They suddenly tell you the presentation is going to be broadcast to three million people? N o problem, you're prepared. Someone gets sick in the middle of the audience and disrupts the whole session? No problem, you're prepared. You're about to walk out on stage and you discover you are wearing shoes that don't match. No problem - you got it under control.

Breathe - make the nerves work for you - and prepare.

Good luck.

There are a couple things to do to calm your nerves:

Don't drink caffeine two hours before the presentation.
Take deep breaths before you go to the podium. In through the nose out through the mouth.
Review your notes and anticipate the hardest question someone might ask you regarding your speech.
Pick one person in the crowd on each side and in the middle of the crowd that you feel like is non-critical or gives you a comfortable feeling and Keep your eyes moving to these people. Scan the crowd with your eyes as you begin to speak and look for people who you feel could actually learn something from you. These are the people you will look at when speaking. But glance at others as well. Not too long though. Keep focused on the people who are needy. This helps you feel better about yourself and stay calm. Just think about it. Would you be nervous in front of little kids?
Keep in mind, these peopel don't know if you forget a sentence or a word. They have no idea what is written on your notecards. If you lose track, wing it until you can find a segway back to what you were speaking about.
And last but not least, think about all these people sitting there and how they all suffer one condition or another.,.. maybe hemherroids, excessive gas or maybe they are wearing a pair of holey socks. You will feel better and be able to smile while speaking. Smiling makes them smile too. This sets a mood for them.

Take water with you to drink to clear your throat. Take everything out of your pockets, if you have pockets, so you aren't tempted to play with them. Practice your presentation a lot (use cards with bulleted or number points to remind you but don't write it all everything which will tempt you to read from the card), and maybe in front of a mirror, to get comfortable with it and know it well. Have some visual aids to take the focus off yourself during the presentation. Right before doing the presentation, take some deep breaths. Then, when presenting, concentrate on your posture and giving your presentation the way you did when alone. You will do fine.

Exercise 1) Focus on a lighted candle in a dark room for half an hour for at least a week,if continued for a longer span of time is always good and helpful

Exercise 2) Meditation on relaxing your tensed mind

Exercise 3) Breathing Exercise.Inhale and Exhale

All this will help you calm your stage fright and help you to focus more clearly on you speech subject whilst you facing the audience.

Have a full glass of wine at least half an hour before your presentation. If you don'thave wine. See if you can get some Marijuanna and make some tea form it. Drink it before you do a presentation. Don't forget to wear your sunglasses.

Roll a blunt. It's worked for me more than once. It's also good for brainstorming.
