No, they are not the same person. They are two different people with the same genetic make-up and that's it. I went to high school with a set of twins, one was straight and the other was a lesbian.

The studies so far have shown a correlation but not an identical preference.
In other words, an identical twin is more likely to be a homosexual if the other twin is a homosexual -- moreso than same-sex fraternal twins or just siblings -- but the ratio is still only about 50%.
If it was purely genetic, then it should be 100% (or close to it, with one twin "being in denial"). If it was purely social, then it should be the same rate as a normal same-sex sibling pair.
This suggests there is a genetic component, but that environmental influences also help determine sexual preference.

No.
I used to know identical twins when I lived in Manchester.
One was straight, and the other was gay.
When they went to gay clubs, they would swap t-shirts just to wind people up.
Research has been done with twins who were adopted, but to different families.
One case was twin girls.
One girl was taken in by a wealthy family, cared for, educated, had everything she wanted.
The other girl was taken in by a family where the mother was unable to have children. They weren't very educated or wealthy, and after a while saw the 'daughter' as a burden.
Eventually the girl from the poor family started displaying behavioural problems at school, and had a low self esteem.
The surprising thing is, that her twin displayed the same traits.
It is in the genes. It's nature, not nurture.

Okay, this is about baby cows, so bear with me. In the womb the hormones given off by a twin calf can effect the other. Specifically, in twinning cows the nutrient flow from the mother to the twins goes in a straight line. It feeds calf one first and then calf two. Also the blood that circulates in calf one while feeding it absorbs some of calf one's hormones. Then the traffic of nutrients that go to calf two are not the same as what calf one got. They have extra hormones in it.
If the first calf is male it gives off more testosterone. One of the things that LOTS of testosterone does to embryos at the right time of gestation is to make them more feminine.
This also happens in humans but it's not nearly as one way on the nutrition flow. They both effect each other. But one can effect the other more, maybe even in different directions at different times of day or something, and if one fetus is getting more testosterone during the right week of pregnancy that child may have a higher chance of being gay.
I saw a study tracking women stressed (and making more testosterone) by World War II. And their children were tracked to see who was gay. They found a strong, strong correlation. However their whole method was lousy so it means very little.
I have wondered though with 911... Everyone was stressed that week. We could compare children born in that year to each other and see if the incidence of homosexuality clumps around certain birthdays.
The idea (and then I'll stop) is that populations of people need to have fewer kids when stress is high. Like during a long famine. So the stress on mommy makes more gay kids who have less kids who eat less of the scarce food.
Sorry to be so long. But basically the womb is a non identical environment for twins to grow up and be effected in.

This answer depends on your personal stance on sexuality, is it genetic or social?
If you believe it is genetic then yes that argument would mean that they would have the same preference.
However if you believe sexuality is socially dependant the individual's sexual preference would depend on thier own experiances. If these are identical you can argue they would be the same, if they differed then they would be likely to have different preferences.
You do hear of identical twins marrying other identical twins. So perhaps there is somthing in the genetic argument.

Identical twins do not always have the same sexual preferences. I have met a few, as i am a twin myself but i am not an identical twin, but the identical ones i have met, well for example, one is a roaring lesbian and one is a born again christian. How about that !!

I don't know about any studies than confirm/deny this but i have identical twin cousins and they are both gay. I think there must be some truth to it as twins tend to have some sort of telekinesis (?? sorry about spelling)
