well i was the most shyest person ever, i swear until i got married to the most amazing husband with the greatest personality, i always wished that i could be like him , so everyday i would learn from him and see how he deals with everything and after a long while i stopped being shy faced my fears and now look at me , i talk, im more open about my feelings, i meet new people and have lots of freinds, so its mainly just face ur fear of being shy or admire someone close to u that is not shy and stay around and learn from there personality it heled me hope it does for u

You can control your shy by being more self confident and worring less about what others think. Just know that you have will have more regrets about the things you didnt do than regrets about the things you've done

I was the shyest person in the world. I was NEVER good at just coming up to talk to someone. I did two things: I either drank a little, which gave me courage to speak or if I saw the person enough, I eventually would just write a note to tell them how i felt. The note worked many times for me. Hell, even when I spoke when I was tipsy, it worked pretty well...so long as your not ignorant when you get drunk.

Remember this little song ...be bold; be strong; for the Lord thy God is with thee... I told my children that 'boldness' is not the absence of 'fear' but the 'knowledge' that you are never alone, and you have the faith to trust God in the calling on your life and the power/ability to carry it out with him beside you. It takes practice to remind yourself to 'practice' looking people in the eye and saying or doing what you need to say or do. Of course the feeling may not leave too soon but please remember to not submit to your 'feelings' because they can change especially if you continue to see your life as someone who is as deserving and special and wonderful as the next person. Being shy can keep millions from receiving that special gift that only you could share with them. It's like saying, "I would've told him/her how nice they looked today but I was too shy." Then that person missed out on a chance on having their self-esteem boosted by you.

Acknowledge and accept it. When a person truly enjoys who they are...even shy, it puts their mind at ease. Self-acceptance is a huge thing because when you accept yourself, the bad and the good, others will to.
( Once you do this, it won't bother you as much, and you won't appear quite so shy.)

You got to socialize with people who are extrovert and outspoken, this would help you to get rid of your shyness. There is no control over shyness, its just that you need to spread your wings with flocks of chirping birds in your friend circle, and initially you will find the change in you.

Wear dark sunglasses when talking to people. This way if you say something regretable. They might not be able to recognie you later without your glasses. Getting a little intoxicated or drunk or ingesting some Marijuanna will help to lower inhibitions.

Why do you have too?
Is it because you personally want to, or is it because you feel society wants you to be outgoing?
One can not change the way the tide flows. If one tries this might not be a good thing....
You are the way you are, once you except this then others will except you.
Good luck
