I notice that whenever I play music on the radio or from a CD, my baby sways side to side. I don't think we taught her that, she just does it. Does this mean that dancing is a natural instinct? And if so, does this mean that my husband is supressing a natural instinct by refusing to dance?

Here's a strange problem. My friend buys duplicate gifts and I don't know why. I bought a dress shirt as a gift and showed it to my friend. My friend bought the same shirt in a different color as a gift to the same person. I bought a leather bomber jacket for a relative. My friend bought a cheaper version of the same jacket - same color, same style, but thinner material - as a gift for the same relative. I bought a vintage Swiss army backpack for a friend who hikes and has trouble finding a good sturdy backpack. My friend bought a second-hand travel backpack for the same person. I spend time and effort finding nice gifts that the recipient will enjoy. If my friend discovers any of my gifts, my friend goes out and buys a cheaper, less nice version of the gift for the same person. This has happened before but this Christmas it's just out of control. The only gifts my friend hasn't duplicated are the ones my friend hasn't seen. Why does my friend do this?

Am I alone in this that I feel almost embarassed to admit I am a house wife? I don't know why I am embarassed because I honestly feel that caring for and raising my children is the most important job I will ever do. Perhaps it is the feminist thing that we need to have professions to be validated as humans and choosing to be just a mother and not taking on a job isn't living up to my potential. Or maybe I feel people think that those of us who are "just mothers" have taken that path because we aren't smart enough or are too lazy to go in another direction. Am I alone in this feeling that in order to be good enough in everyone's eyes I must also take on a job as well as being a mother? I would love to hear what you think!

I wanted to scream but I couldn't, to my husband for help, so I woke up, but then I went to the door and a scary person was standing there, and I woke up again and then my house was ripped apart as if someone was in the house robbing us, and I tried to scream for help but I couldn't and I woke up again, this time for real?
Has that ever happened to you?

How can you tell if some one has a problem that they are ashamed of or want to hide or are just not nice?

And if this question gets removed have the decency to reveal yourself! (The objector I mean!!)

Hi I was wondering if anyone can send "good vibes" to my Mum an I or maybe say a little prayer for us. You see my Mum is due to fly to England tommorrow by herself and is she is terrified of flying. She was forced into this flight by other family members and I am hoping that it will snow or be really foggy so that she can't go so if anyone can help that would be great.

Yes. My questions is What!?

I know alot about serial killers
I have been studying them for over
3 years now.

&& After writing lots of reports
about why, how, what.

Why they do it?
What are they thinking?

I had great answers.

But now after
watiching so many
tv shows, & movies.
& Reading so many books.

I think otherwise.

I just want to hear from
different people and what they think..

Like from the ShowTime TvSeries "Dexter"
(Yes I know that "Dexter" isn't even close to the real killer)

But I want to know what you people think!?

About Serial Killers?
Why?
What?

Basically everything that can be covered on this topic.

Thank You!

Why is it so hard for some people to understand that introverts like to be alone. I enjoy the time by myself but my friends and family think I am anti social.

An acquaintance from work, who was a stranger at the time, was introduced to me by a colleague. Now, normally, I'm rather indifferent toward people at work, but I had this visceral reaction of disgust and anger toward this man; he literally made me ill. I noticed a peculiar (unpleasant) body odour, and his appearance in general was repulsive to me. Yet when I chatted about it to a friend who also knows this person, she couldn't understand what I was talking about. She found him good-looking, attractive, and friendly, and though she'd been physically close to him numerous times never noticed any unusual body odour. Now, either I'm hallucinating, or there are some people in this world who, for whatever reason, just clash so much with our own unconscious physiologies that they constitute 'natural enemies'--anyone else ever have such a strange negative reaction to a stranger that they just couldn't logically explain?
