At 16 you are still a Child. I wouldn't consider anybody a young man until he was at least 21. Probably the same for a woman. Young man or young woman would be betwen 21 and 30.

I would say it's all point of view. My father is 60 but calls 30 or forty year old's kids. He will say "do you know that kid" referring to a 30 year old. AS for as me calling someone a young woman or man i would say 15-23 i guess.

People are as young as they feel.

In terms of a range, I would say:

ages 17 to 21 for men

ages 15 to 21 for female

Why 15 as a start age for young women?

Simply because women mature faster than men.

i think of it quite is possibly around 25 or so, in spite of the shown fact that it ought to have greater to do with the way you carry your self, and the age of the guy saying it. My grandma calls people of their 40s "infants", yet because she's almost 80, they are to her.
