Time is all a matter of perception and brain state. Time flies when you are having fun. A watched pot never boils. Attentiveness. If you are deeply concentrating on something, time rolls right by. If you are scattered and stressed, the days drag on. Brain wave patterns would also contribute. If you are in alpha level, an hour can feel like a few minutes.

Long days for me are the ones where I am stuck in my head and I choose not to share my thoughts with anyone. I could have a million thoughts before lunch and feel exhausted and feel the day should be over.
My shorter days are the ones where I get a lot of things done. Those days I wish I had more hours.

Because we attempt to fit too much action into a small space, forgetting of course, to allocate time to enjoy what we are doing. It's like scheduling time for joy, or sex, or deep contemplation... the intent exists, but the spark has fizzled out. It becomes but one more item on the to do list... at least that's it for me. Perception, perspective, and intent...

Some days feel longer than others because of human perception. Our perception affects our entire reality. An example being: put your hand on a hot pan and hold it there for one minute. It will feel like an hour. Put your hand on a hot chick for one hour and it will feel like one minute.
