I have always been the kind of person that gets praised by others alot; I know I'm very smart and that I am talented and gifted, but unlike other people who like to show so much of their pride of this, I in the other hand aren't like that, I feel like I don't deserve the good praise. maybe I'm just too humble. I can say that I am too UNSELFISH. I want to make everybody else feel good that I don't feel comfortable being complimented or being praised. Is something wrong with me, is this normal?

Nah, a lot of people are like that.

It can mean two completely contradictory things: either you are very secure in your talents, and don't feel that need for praise because you are well aware of how good you are, or you are insecure in your talents, but instead of showing off like many people do and seeking affirmation, you downplay your skills so that others won't expect too much out of you, and so they won't be disappointed.

If you think about yourself and see that you don't show off for the second reason, then you may want to try to work your confidence up, because otherwise you will be afraid to take risks, and may end up missing out on opportunities in life due to fear of failure. Many talented people fall through the cracks of success in this society of ours, and you need to make sure that you are not one of them.

That's a very cute, sexy and charming quality to have. Don't say that you don't deserve praise. Just by what you're saying, you deserve much more than that. It's nice to know there are still people in the world like you. :)

I feel the same way. Whenever I do something nice I try to do it in secret because I don't want people praising me. It makes me feel worse about myself, as if it was out of pity.

people probably praise you just to make you feel better about yourself, because you're probably not excelling in much, so you have nothing to show off. you're a very special boy.

You are not too humble, you are just what the world needs. Keep it up. We definitely need more like you.

Welcome to my world

I, too, like Lily, can draw very well, I admit that. But I don't want to show some of my pictures to people because I don't want to hear them say "wow, I love your pictures" and blah blah blah.
