We men like to be confident with women and for the most part that definatly helps out a lot .When i feel confident and radiate it outwards metaphoricaly its the best cologne money cannot buy.

There are times tho when any man is less than confident at some given point of time .

Most shy guys dont have a succesful social life

I do see a handful of shy guys that get approached by women .What is it about the rare shy guy that makes you want to approach him?

Are women in society expected to be unintellectual, appeasing, pleasant, unopinionated and meek?
....if any women have anything to add to the list by the way feel free...

..and is it true that in some ways other women are more guilty of sexism against other women than men?

I read a question on Yahoo Answers yesterday asking women whether they have had sex with their partner whilst he was asleep. I'm interested to hear what your thoughts are about the following two scenarios:

1. A man has sex with his wife/girlfriend whilst she is asleep. Do you find this acceptable? Would you describe this as rape?

2. A woman has sex with her husband/boyfriend while he is asleep. Do you find this acceptable? Would you describe this as rape?

I never had a pet, but I have to ask... do animals (domesticated & wild) attribute importance to names by which they are called? Do they (in wild) have something similar to names to identify individuals and communicate?

If they do not, then from an evolutionary & psychological perspective, why do human beings like to assign "a lot of" meaning and value to their names? Why are human beings so narcissistic compared to other species?

I've noticed that in problem pages in magazines, women whose partners are refusing to have sex are usually advised to leave them, or are told that they need professional help, whilst men who write in with the same problem with their partners are usually lectured on how it's 'her choice'. Why do you think this double-standard exists?

we dated for 1.5 yrs.he was sort of a jerk at first, but he changed for me.he did anything i wanted.then he mentioned marriage but i wasn't ready.i broke up with him for 5 months but only bc i had to go away.we got back together afterwards.our parents/friends didn't like it.i broke up with him again and this time he moved on. he still called me and one time lied to me by saying he was going to dump her and coerced me into sex (he cheated on her).i was angry but glad that he cheated (i know this makes me mean but it's human nature).his girlfriend never found out but dumped him the next day for other reasons (he was selfish and tried to change her). a week later he and i are still hanging out/having sex,but we both started dating new people.he really likes this new girl he's dating but i can't move on.last night i partied with friends and drunk-txted him saying life is fuucked up bc i still loved him even though i shouldn't.no answer.i found out that new girl was there last night. HELP!!!

I moved to a new city recently, and I honestly have no idea how to find a qualified, personable, and overall superior psychologist. It's not the sort of thing I can just start asking my coworkers about, you know?
