I'm a Canadian but, I think it's just jokes lol I don't really mind if people joke about us. Maybe those people who hate us wish they could live peacefully like the North Americans can. I've been to US and Canada is a US Jr. Most companies in Canada are American.

There isn't any true hate towards Canada, just lots of jokes about Canada and their policies. Such as Canada's government body closely mimics that of the united states, or the fact Canada has never fought in any of the world wars, or Canada's policies on prescription drugs and marijuana. Even a Canadian accent is grounds for a mocking, along with their love of hockey. It's not hate, because I've never met anyone that outwardly said they hate Canadians, but the country does has a fairly big mocking from Americans, even if we could learn from them in some areas.

I don't know anyone who has the slightest negative attitude regarding Canada or Canadian people.
I suppose that if you look hard enough, you will find a person or group of people who hate any other group you might name.
Canada is a valued ally of the United States. We don't always agree on every point of policy, but thats normal...I don't know what hatred you think you've heard of.

I think people hate Canada (I DO NOT) because Canadians are nice, peaceful, and Canada is not involved in wars. The most common attacks are making fun of "eh" and maple syrup.

We don't. Not sure what you're listening to, but Americans travel for business and pleasure to Canada all the time. We invest there, and they treat us well.
I took a religious week trip to all of the shrines, and found everything to be nice, pretty, clean, and a good experience. My daughter goes every year to the thousand islands, NY, and goes over to Canada.......every year got that ??with her father's family.
You may be listening to the wrong people who had a bad experience. Canada is rarely in the news with anything bad happening there.
GOD bless.

Who said this to you?
Canada is so well known as one of the most humble. kind, peaceful and down to earth countries in the world. My stepfather is Canadian and he is very nice to me all the time....
Maybe America which is one of the most aggressive countries in the world!
But definitely NOT Canada.....

Americans and Canadians should be pals really.
The last thing we need is a war with a bordering country.
however, I think both of them are in competition in who's better.
Canada was a refuge place for draft dodgers, they allow prostitution, they have lots of wilderness, & they got a lower drinking age
The US has higher paying jobs, warmer weather(especially here in FL), easier measurement system, & larger cities. Both countries are great and should be happy with what they got.

WE don't hate Canada. Americans just rib them, like good friends rib each other in jest.
Same with Aussie's; we crack jokes about each others quirks, but really do actually get along fairly well.
Both English speaking of sorts, Democracies of sorts, capitalists of sorts, trading partners, Christian folks of sorts, almost exactly the same freedoms.
Yeah, like in the same family.
