Life – it has a meaning and loving purpose - you just have to find your purpose and live it.
I believe every person is here for a definite purpose. Each person is special and valuable; that refers to me, you, your family, friends, in fact everybody! There is a loving plan for each of our lives here on earth and there is no such thing as coincidence. I don't believe that anything in life happens by chance and that every aspect of our lives points to something deeper.
You need to decide now to live for God rather than for yourself. You spend your life on Earth preparing yourself (as best you can) for death. I don't see death as a scary, negative experience, but birth into a bliss filled eternal life with God. I believe that this is something you have to consciously choose or not during your life on earth.
The meaning of life is for us to discover that we are true children of an infinitely loving and merciful God, to find out what our responsibilities are to our Creator, and to fulfill those responsibilities. Each of us is called to affirm, accept and develop the talents God has given us. -

There isn't a meaning to it. You just define it as you choose.
Meaning implies purpose.
Any purpose outside of primary and secondary survival needs is subjective. Primary survival needs are food, clothing, and shelter. Secondary needs are sex, love, and companionship. We humans are bonding animals.
From there, it's all subjective. If you want to believe that a god floats around the universe and loves you. That's your choice. If you want to believe the universe is what it is. That's your choice.
Bottom line, it's all how someone chooses to see things, and then inject his/her purpose into it.
The fun or tragedy is sharing your purpose with others. Not everyone will agree with you. Some will. Hopefully, nobody is willing to kill you for your difference of opinion. (That happens. Look at any kind of religious or political extremist in history or the modern world. They'll kill each other for the slightest of differences.)
So, not to end this line of reasoning on a downer note. By life not having meaning or purpose, this means that people are free to make their choices about how the world lives. The advantage is that life is never solidly black and white. It is ever-changing and growing.
That is a comforting and frightening prospect.
Hope this helps you on your journey to understanding.
Cheers.

Life is, among other things, a process that resists anything that negatively affects its sustenance.
So the meaning of life is to get better at survival and to continue to survive by any means. Although that may sound selfish and evil, life forms with altruistic traits like Love, Joy, Peace, Forgiveness, Kindness, Trustworthiness and Self-Control has been proved to sufficiently better at survival by game theorists, political scientists and evolutionary biologists.
So be altruistic, don't die, & procreate (if possible)... that IS the meaning of life.
Don't be afraid of death either. Everyone will die. Even people who believe in a "heaven" will have to die to get there. So experience as much as possible in this life, do what you truly like to do, don't refrain from achieving your goal out of a fear of failure or embarrasment.
Because, in case you forgot, life is the best thing that happened to you!

Those who say there is no meaning are correct.
There's no higher power. Just a massively huge universe, and nothing we ever do will make a difference on a larger scale. We get a fantastic gift by chance, with our ability to enjoy things. So if you're searching for meaning, make it your meaning to utilize your ability to be happy. It'll vanish one day, along with you.
Allow others to exercise their ability to enjoy, also.
In other words, live moralistically, and nobody will feel the need to break your bones. Dying with intact bones is the meaning of life.

Understand the true "meaning of life"... the concept in totality-
What is the "meaning of life" is the most asked question on the Internet. Why?
Every Human Being wants to know and understand the Philosophy behind the meaning of Life! Why are we here... what is the purpose of our living on Mother Earth... what is the real meaning of Life? The queries are numerous... there has got to be a justification for our living. What is the basis of existence of Life on planet Earth?
Before we indulge into knowing "the meaning of Life" we need to understand Life itself. How do we differentiate between a mortal (living being) and an immobile material (having no Life within)? For this we need to start from the beginning of the Cosmos itself... The time of the big bang!
At the time of the big bang when God, the Almighty Creator which is but the size of half a thumb explodes itself... all Atmans (Souls) get scattered all over the cosmos and in doing this they lose their pristine purity and as a ball coated with honey gathers dust while rolling... these Atmans (Souls) also get impregnated with impurities. This is the fundamental cause of Life... if these Atmans (Souls) had remained pure all the time... the need for Life in whole of the cosmos would not have arisen.
These Atmans (Souls) in their cosmic journey now need a body so that they can purify themselves and come back to their original pristine form. These Atmans (Souls) do not have the power to purify themselves without the aid of any external body. They need a body to work out its Karma and in the process the dross within the Atman soul shall get removed.
Let me explain this further but before that I need to explain the definition of God.
At the time of pralaya as we call it in Hinduism (the time of complete dissolution of the cosmos)... the total cosmos which consists of many universes dissolves back into its original pristine form... this is the form we know as God, the Almighty Creator! The size of the whole cosmos at this moment of time is half the size of a thumb, which is nothing else, but the collection of all purified Atmans (Souls) in the cosmos.
For purifying themselves why do the Atmans (Souls) need a body? This feature can be explained further by the example of mining.
If I need to extract one KG of pure gold (say an individual purified Atman in its pristine pure form) from a lump of hundred KG of gold ore then I need to pass the lump of hundred KG of gold ore through the requisite mining process. It is absolutely clear that this one KG of pure gold can not on its own separate itself out from the hundred KG of gold ore without the help of an external medium... it needs requisite machinery to remove the 99 KG of dross within the ore. Life is a highly complex system of definable physical and chemical structures capable of utilizing environmental matter and energy in order to perform basic life processes such as growth and reproduction. Therefore, there is no "meaning." It only is.

When a person contemplates a fine work of art, they see the beauty and experience emotions that the work of art evokes. It tells them something about the artist. How he feels, his view of the world. We are the creation of a master artist. Our purpose is bring honor and glory to our creator.

There is no meaning. Really... our exsistance in the universe is meaningless... we are here to continue entrophy. Until eventually the universe is a cold dark dim place. Humans seek to have meaning to their lives, but really there is no meaning. So I just try to enjoy being meaningless... which means, lots of sex, chinese food and laughter.

Love. Love is the law. Love is all there is.
I was working in a radio station once, hanging out with the DJ, when he played "All you need is love" by the Beatles. I asked him whether he believed it. He said, "It is not only all you need, it is all there is." He was right, of course.
Cold is not a real thing; it is the absence of heat. Darkness is not a real thing; it is the absence of light. Hatred is not a real thing; it is the absence of love.

We were put here by a higher power and it is to see how we all play the game. We are given cards to play and it's up to us as how we play them. When we think we have the game down we are given another hand to play. Life is all about the cards we are dealt and how we play the hand we have.
