After 3 years and marriage plans, I found out my ex was cheating on me for our entire relationship. I called her and she knew all about me but he had given her the impression that our relationship was nothing serious. To name just a few of the things I found out, he had given me a present she had given him, he practically lived with her only keeping up appearances in his apartment when I came over and been on holidays with her. He told her I was a lying, that he felt sorry for me, then sent me a text saying not to contact him anymore and that his life was with her. She took him back and I was absolutely destroyed. However, ever since the beginning of 2006, he has been texting and calling me saying how sorry he is, how much he misses and still loves me. I have texted back saying that I did not feel the same, some things that are broken can never be mended and that he didn’t know what love was to do such a thing. I have never spoken to him and he is still with the other woman. I have not healed after all this time and tears still fall thinking of the depths of his betrayal. Why is he really calling? Is it worth hearing him out? Or is he simply bored in his current relationship?

I'm rather upfront about most things to my friends and usually I act on impulse. Most of the times I don't regret what I say/do either, especially if it's something they ask my opinion on. But lately it's been bothering me, sometimes what I'm saying isn't being understood the way I meant it to be . I've come to realize that if I was someone else, I wouldn't want to hang out with me, because of my rude behavior. I also tend to pick on people and argue just to start a 'riff'. I want to try to contain myself, but, I don't know how to start. How can I go from the girl who has an attitude about everything to the nice girl who people enjoy being around. I don't have any idea where to start. I feel as if my attitude is my defense to keep people from hurting me. I would really like to let people in and and stop being a bully, but how do I do it? How do I open up and show people I care and I'm a nice person deep down someplace hidden? Everything I've tried has failed. I'd appreciate any help

Imagine the one person right now who is the most negative force in your life, or who you like the least. If they were hanging over a cliff and you were the only one there who could save them by reaching out your hand and pulling them up......would you ?
