Well it is hard sometimes. What I would do is walk them through the situatuon to see if they can see the truth. For example, let's say my friend stays with her cheating husband because she thinks he will change. This has been going on for a couple years. She keeps telling me he is going to change for the better. What I do is say things like, so how long has he been cheating, and how long have you tolerated it, and it still hasn't changed. Getting her to look the reality of the situation such as it has been two years and he still is doing the same stuff, still cheating. I would point out to her that what she wants isn't what she is getting. That she wants to be with someone faithful and she is with someone who isn't. In the end you can't make someone change the way they view something. You can only be there as a friend.

Not to be rude, but i don't think there's anything u can do, than wait for them to find it out themselves. I mean, if they are really into denial, whatever u tell wud make no sense to them, u being right or wrong. And by contradicting them, u shall lose the value of ur talk. In this matter, i think that experience wud be the best teacher..... :-)
