then what color skin did the first humans have? Apes have dark black to dark brown fur but under their fur, their skin is light brown/pinkish. And I've read that the first humans were from Africa and were black. How do we know that the first humans were in Africa? Apes lived in today's Africa, Middle East and southern areas of Europe. Do the scientists say that the first human was in Africa because that's where the oldest skeleton has been found?

Whenever I read a news article that talks of people dying, I usually don't see it as particularly depressing but when an animal dies, I feel much more depressed.

The quality of men are going downhill, and have been for a while. It is so very unfortunate, but with all the things that have gone in the past decades, you can see why. Where are we going to be in fifty years? People talk about returning honor and courage and the like to the men of today, but stop and think, and this is a scary thought- what are the men going to be like in a half century? We really gotta figure something out...What do you think?

So basically, a psycholgist and a therapist are sort of similar. Therapist helps people with their problems. Does a psychologist do the same thing or do they do research and write reports.

as a science minded individual I have conducted an experiment of grand importance, with far reaching implications. To see if hatred and prejudice can be over come by warring factions.I velcroed my neighbors cat to the stomach of my other neighbors pet, which is a Rotweiller.the results are as yet being tallied and studied and yes we had a good time watching fluffy clawing desperatly with terror stricken eyes trying to get loose and to safety,as rover snapped at the prize that was just a hairs width from his grasp.

My old employer used to have a smart remark that he used to make to people asking about women's rights and employing women in the workplace (I am a promoter of women's rights). He said " Men and women should have the right to be exploited equally". It usually got a few snickers, but knowing the guy's mean spirit he was actually speaking from his heart. This makers me wonder, was "Corporate America" the real winner of equal rights.

I'm puzzled; I am shy, but not so much that I don't talk to anyone. I talk to people that are interested in me, and vise versa. The catch is though, I get really reserved, anxious, and alert when I am around a crowd that is under the influence of Alcohol. My heart rate increases, adrenaline kicks in, and I want to bolt. Furthermore, when it comes to drinking for me, I have one drink: beer, margarita, wild turkey...whatever...and I am fine...but I don't dare drink any more, because I fear the consequences of being drunk. Is there a fundamental fear of alcohol? Do I have it? Or is it more social, and the fear of unpredictability while under the influence?

Honest answers please.

Anyone out there experienced parental alienation? If so, and you would like to share your story, it would help me a lot - I'm writing a paper on it and need some case studies. Thanks.

How has our values changed? What are the greatest results of the sexual revolution? the worst? Has the sexual revolution created better or worse men? What do women want the legacy of the sexual revolution to be?

There are certainly a lot of questions and implications about the sexual revolution. Personally, I have changed some of my personal beliefs about sex after understanding more about the movement. What do you all think? What's your personal perspective?

I've only done shrooms like four times in my life. The first time (3 years ago) was possibly the best experience i've ever felt in my life... My life changed and I noticed how much of a dick I was to girls; thus changing my whole personality. Then last year I sorta felt like doing it again and when i did, i had the worst experince I've ever had in my life. I can't even explain the horrible things that happened in my head, and how i felt like everyone was fakeand i got in such deep thinking that it hurt my head so much. I felt as if I entered a different relm of thinking. The closest example of my deep thinking was "If there is a god and he created everything, then how did he become god, obviously someone had to create him, he couldnt have been created out of thin air when all that most religions teach you is the fact that everythihng is created by something." I got in such a deep level of thinking that my head hurt for 120 hours later.

I asked directly to her, she answered that there's no particular reason, she just felt like crying. In my opinion, there's always reasons why people cry.

Ok there is an instructor of mine who I really respect because he helps me and never grows tired of me. He'd always call on me during class because I am always honest(usually I don't know how to do the problem or I just guess). Sometimes he'd tease me or joke. Or act like a bunny rabbit. I'd go to his office for help on the assignment when I need to like twenty times that day.

Anyway Tuesday when I went in to get help he uh stared at my chest while talking, I came in later and he helped me and as I was pushing a chair away he ogled me and I felt his eyes go up and down on me(from the corner of my eye I could see!). Two days later that evening I was on the floor wrapping presents to help my friends with a charity. He said goodnight and stuff. I said seeya and as he turned to go down the second set of stairs, I smiled at him and he just gave me a serious intense creepy stare.

Ok I'm running out of characters so wait.

In general, which is worse: being emotionally abused by your father, or being emotionally abused by your mother? I know it sometimes depends on the same sex parent, but as a child I was emotionally abused by my father. I was just curious, this is a poll for my psychology class. Thank you very much and Merry Christmas!
