Is nerd the new black?

i don't know if i would say the nerd is the new black; i don't think it will ever get as bad as the racism blacks endure. hmmmmm..........the dudes i knew in school as "cool" are now either dead, in prison, or still working at fast-food places. the "nerds" now have well paying jobs and a good life, like one i went to school with who is now a chemist for kerr-mcgee in austin, making about 120k a year.

Can't be cool to be uncool, u have to be cool to be cool. I mean u have to know your cool, though that doesn't mean that u are cool. Cool is something u are, or become, but at the same time uncool can become cool and vice versa, As to the "new black" well I dont know about that, It depends whether u mean black as in the fashion sense of "white being the new black" or something els..... which i dont know. But as Mama used ti say "Cool is Cool", she also said "Life is like a box of choclates"..... No actually that wasn't her, or the cool thing either, huh, oh well.

What I think is cool is this -
Being yourself - and not worrying if it is cool, hip, nerdy, or what-ever else!
As for nerdy being the 'new black'? The color of a persons skin is not what makes them a nerd .... So my answer to your second question is "No!"
Being cool, or a nerd, is simply a type of personality - or at least it is what the person allows others to "see" in them.... It has nothing to do with a persons skin color!

It's cool to be whatever you are. You need to define uncool though. If you're a d*ck then you'll never be cool. If you're just socially inept because you've sequestered yourself for years, then that's cool if you don't mind being a social retard. I think it all boils down to being open to other people and accepting them for what they are. If you're happy being what you are then you're cool with me. How was that for a meandering answer. Peace.

It is cool to be exactly who you are. However, it is uncool and unwise to try to be something you are not. Give yourself a break, if they don't like you, you don't need them in your life.

be yourself, there is no need to try and change yourself to fit another look. People will like you for who you are and people that dont really arent worth it anyway
