Nature AND nurture. But, in my opinion, mostly nurture.

I would not say opposite as much as different in the way the come to a conclusion. Women deal with the emotional part of thought, where as the men deal with the primal part of the mind. For men I can say selfish is the main rule of their mind,,,, for women I would say caring is the main rule. That is why we fit together well,,,, We (MEN) are mostly selfish, never having to carry a baby, or even ever knowing what it is to share our bodies with another,,, and women are the ones who take us and make us better, show us sharing, and even out the roughness that we try so hard to build. I would say, we can come to the same conclusions,,,, but we will always go about it differently.

Women are suppose to be feminine by nature, and men are suppose to be masculine by nature.
Since these are opposite characteristics, they will have opposing views on many issues, and react differently to situations.
The same thing applies when you put a feminist and a sissy-boy together, except the roles are reversed.

Now if you'll excuse me, the cave walls are kind of dull, so I need to go carve some pictures in them.

We're not opposite, just a bit different. Logic and emotion are factors in the thinking of both men and women, though men tend to focus more on logic and women more on emotion. There are, of course, exceptions to that rule, and variations on it depending on the individaual. All things told, though, men and women aren't so different that we can't understand or empathise with each other to a reasonable degree. I find that my male friends and my boyfriend often think much like I do.

Never they are opposite thinkers. They are complimentary to the nature. Each respects the other. Life is not actionless. It is full of actions and reactions. If these actions and reactions have to flow, the male and the female should meet in opposite directions but not think in opposite lines.

its not that they were born thinking opposite...its that society influenced them to think differently bc society has different expectations from boys and girls...which totally sucks bc then that leaves one gender subservient to another in places like india...women are taught to be vulnerable and fragile while men are taught to be buff and macho...so there we go the belief that these fragile creature need a buff guy to look aftr them and if they are so fragile arent they weaker too?
when u see a girl acting like a tomboy it sticks out to u...u look at her as different...why? because u exect a woman to dress very "feminine" u expect her to take fancy in that which suits her fragile nature...why can a woman not be strong and feminine at the same time? society refuses to see both at the same time...then we will have feminists bc women have always been oppressed by men and not allowed to reach their highest potential and we will have chauvanists unwilling to let go of the power they have over women..
the same thing when u see a metrosexual guy...he isnt allowed to be feminine...you'll think he is gay u'll attack his sexuality...
girls and guys arent as different by nature as u think hunni
altho i have begun to feel as if men are controlled by their raging hormones...maybe testosterone can have something to do with it but it doesnt come into play when a man is a young boy...even then he will be into video games and sports while his sister plays with barbies
even the dress code is sooo different...im not saying men should wear dresses but cmon there are blatant differences..
as for the common miscomception about why women dress to impress women---that too is an influence of our society...

not at all. it is rather a difference in education - I find that the thinking is rather quite the same both in boys and girls... unless one has educated a girl to like only shopping and popstars, and a guy to enjoy only beer guzzling and football!!!

Since they are TWO Opposite genders, opposite sexes, that's Y they think in opposite way. And its logical to think like that. If they have been thinking in similar way then that would have been illogical.

It's not necessarily true. Sometimes, it happens due to upbringing and some biological reasons.
