what will you reply?
ps: it seems that he doesn't think the people around him is innocent and they are more than scheming..

A good skill and strategy is to learn to change the question that is asked and to answer your own question.
In this case I would change the question to honesty in my head and tell him that I try to make a habit of being honest. Management types, lawyers and politicians do this all the time.

Depends entirely on context.
If in the bedroom it would be "do you have sexual experience", if around the scene of a wrong doing - "are you guilty or not".
And about 20 other situational replies
How about taking the time to explain the situation a little more helpfully so we know how/why he might have said that.

Yes I am Innocent to the ways of the world. I believe in the promises of God in the bible, unfortunately, the world has gone amuck. You think you know and can trust someone, then you find out, they have hidden secrets you didn't see coming. It destroys your world(momentarily). I believe in people, but will forever depend on God to know their hearts. Some people are so conniving.

well, it seems that he is not gonna trust people easily , anyway , his question is kinda silly , and i bet he finds it difficult to find out how people are but at the same time he is being truth full and naive but for the answer : nobody is innocent and at the same time , no one is guilty!!
