Of course I would save him/her. To not do so would be tantamount to murder, even if only through inaction. The thing that makes us human is our ability to sympathize with others, even those that cause us pain. To my way of thinking, to hear this person crying for help, to see their agony and do nothing is... monstrous.

Yes, because if I didn't I would stoop down to their level. I would be just as much responsible for their death and would have no self respect. Every person deserves to live.Who knows, maybe they''ll stop being a negative force after that bond of lifesaving.

Yes, I wish death upon no one. Ever. Only God can be your judge. I would never want to have that guilty feeling. I mean don't get me wrong sometimes I fantasize about them dying or leaving the world but then I feel guilty and pray for those awful thoughts.

Of course I would. There would be no choice. (However, I guess that's another way of saying that there hasn't been anyone in my life that has hurt me so badly that I could not fogive them or that I would be afraid to give them another chance at life) at least up until this point. I could understand others having another answer to this question.

Hell no. The peson I envision in this situation is hateful and abusive and uninclined to change. Should he live through this, he would go on spreading his distructive influence on other lives, and saving him would be merciless to the other people in his life. I would crush his fingers and make the f***er fall.

Of course. I would feel guilty if something happened that I could have prevented.

Of course I would. Every life is worth preserving, even if that person is reprehensible scum.
