What is the worst thing you have ever done in your life so far?

As a shy and insecure 12 year old my Mother had a terrifying hold over me. One day she dropped me off at school and handed me my lunch money (£1). Somehow I managed to lose this money and so terrified of my mother's wrath I began to cry incontrollably. Embarrassed by my own snivelling I made up the most hideous lie to answer concerned friends' queries. "What's the matter?" was responded to thus: "I found my mother dead in bed this morning" - this was said through floods of tears as I ran around trying to find my pound so that my mother didn't beat me for losing it. Naturally my concerned schoolfriends told their teachers, who told the headmaster, who phoned my mum at work - so the hideous day got worse and worse for all concerned.

Trying to explain to your mother that you are so terrified of her as the reason for making up such a lie left an indelible stain on our relationship which was never repaired. I left home at 16, never to return or have any contact with my fearsome mother again.

So far I have been an angel, but then discovered Yahoo Answers and found a way past the language cencor. Now I get violations every day just for using bad language, which is far less worse I think than some of the stupid fu­cking questions people ask.

the worst thing ive ever done, i had a german sheppard cross boxer, i loved her so much i had her since she was born, i nursed her to sleep, and feed her 3 times a day, she was 8 years old, she was going throw a phase were she used to bark about 3 in the morning, i got a new job were i had to wake up early, i got no sleep that night, but i started to nod of about 4in the morning, she started barking and woke me up, so i went outside and belted her with a tennis racket, about 4 mouths latter i had to put her down because she was sic, if i didnt hit her that night she would have lived her whole life loved, know i really miss her.

I dropped a 25 pound weight on my foot last week. I sure could have done without that little incident. My foot is all kinds of lovely colors. It's still painful when I try to bend my toes too. Sometimes I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Oh well, ciest la vie.

Well personally that'd be a toss up between shooting someone in the head with an air rifle, cutting 3/4 of the way through someones brake pipes on their car so that they failed or taking a photograph of me nailing a married woman from behind ( i'll leave it to your imagination what was going on there!) and emailing it to her husband - and everyone who worked where her husband worked.

Take your pick, they are all equally reprehensible in my eyes.
