Science & Mathematics - 11 September 2006

Recently, I watched an intruiging yet disturbing program on the discovery channel involving the tragic 9/11 tragedy. My mind desperately searched for inventive ways to safeguard and design new buildings. The next day several of my solutions were featured on a follow up program. Creating preventative architectural strategems are a passion of mine. I'm intuitive-creative but, I'm a realist and value process. What can I do to assist a company that values life and humanity over bottom line profit? Are there such organizations or companies? Would they value a person with my unique thinking style. My ideas are usually ahead of the curve, and my strengths are primarily language and making interconnections. Sometimes, geometry and imagination intertwine but, what good are ideas without a team or organization to see tangible results. Yes, I want to create a livelihood but, helping and humanity are my main concerns.

Given a circle of radius r, we choose randomly four points (a, b, c, and d) inside the circle. Then we draw the segment ab, connecting the points a and b, and the segment cd, connecting the points c and d.So what's the probability that the segments intersect each other ?

I can do basic math like to 7th grade.Lol.
But right now I am taking accounting/business math and I can't get any of it...most of it! I understand what they are asking in the comprehensive questions but I never get the hang of figuring out what procedures/equations to solve the problem...how can I make it easier for me to pass the tests? Numbers and I do not click very well. Sometimes I try to practice the problems but I still get lost very easily!

I worked in a credit union and one of our customers told me this. I thought she was nuts, but I looked up some of the sites she suggested and there is quite a following for this theory.

Basically, they believe that "god" or whatever you believe in, is nothing more than the control of aliens over our planet for thousands of years.

Any thoughts on this? Other than the obvious, "you are a nutjob?"
